My checks have cartoonish pigs playing in mud, sitting in a barn, and pigs with wings (pigs fly). They're cute. :)

On my business account for PL, I have AXO on the checks. An alum sister works at a local bank, and so not only do I get free checking and such, but I get personalized checks with AXO through the middle. They're on a green background of course :D

Our joint account checks are the bank design (another bank) -- free checks for Mr. Tightwad.

Fancy lettering, gold accent, and a dollar bill taped to the back just to say "I have money".

Oh and no joke, whenever I write a check to my friends (sometimes others) I write embarassing things on the memo portion. It's awesome writing "For gay sex" and other delightful comments there and watching your friend get annoyed but he won't rip it up because it's money.
