Go Wizards, Go Wizards. Oh, we stink. Ahh, Go Philly, Go Philly. My heart is with Philly or the Kings, but my money would be with San Antonio. I can't stand the Lakers. S. Daddy needs to be able to make free throws, and Colby cries like a little girl. But they are playing a lot better and as a team now, so they may repeat.

I don't like the NY Knicks either. I hope Toronto comes back. Well I don't like most of the Knicks. Allan Houston is a really Klassy fellow though.

I have been a Lakers girl since the days of showtime (When you had to like either the Lakers, the Celtics or the Sixers because everyone else was so bad), so of course I am going with my Lakers!!!

QUESTION:

HAS anyone noticed that MARV ALBERT has returned to NBC/TNT as commentator? He wasn't there last year, and I kind of missed his voice giving the plays, etc.

But, isn't it funny how he can be accused/convicted, participating in that sexcapade or whatever and gets his job back. Isn't that something.

Actually he was a commentator last year for MSG. They were games that were played at Madison Square Garden in NY. But it is quite funny and sleek that they have just slide him into TNT now.

Pretty3grl...I'm feeling you on the Sixers, Lakers, Celtics thing. When I was growing up I thought these were the ONLY teams in the NBA...lol. My family members are huge basketball fans so I'm a fan "by default".

Don't forget about the Pistons. They too were a part of the Awsome Foursom (Isah (sp) Thomas, Bill Lambeer, Dennis Rodman, Vinnie Johnson)... Am I telling my age?!

Did anybody see game 5 of the Sixers\Toronto series? If that was any indication of what the Sixers have up their sleeves nobody east or west wants to see them.

I doubt if there will be a sweep this time. Too much money will be lost by advertisers etc.

I'd really love to see the Sixers take the series. I have too much love for the skills of Mr. Iverson... But in reality, the skill set of Mr. Bryant and Mr. O'Neal coupled with Mr. Grant and Mr. Fox may somewhat overpower my boys Iverson and McKie. AKA2D...I was just thinking about this yesterday as he was standing courtside at the intro of Game 1. I thought about how it seems as they had a strategy all along to bring him back by keeping him on the DL for a bit and then bringing him back to the fore.

Was that Iverson's wife standing near him (w/the red hair) when they beat the Bucks?

I too, find the Marv Albert situation quite interesting. He has been commentating Knicks games for a while, but it is funny how that (his actions) was basically swept under the carpet. You know, when it comes to something that we do, they never let us forget it.

not only that, but HECK, our CAREERS are basically RUINED! No way of trying to "come back" from anything!

That makes me upset!

i am not a 76er's fan, i just like seeing the underdog win, plus its an east coast team, just cause i live in la now doesn't mean i will jump on the bandwagon :P
