Has any one tried to make reservations to only find out there are no more rooms? I called to book a room and was told I could not because there were no more rooms unless I spoke to the person in charge! If anyone knows otherwise, please help a soror out!

Oh No!!!! I was going to get on top of that this weekend!!! I'll let you know if I find anything out (maybe my chapter has set aside rooms)!!

Sorors, don't panic just yet. My aunt called me just Monday night and said that she had reserved our room earlier that day with no problem. Hello Sorors! Just to let you know that YES the hosting hotel the Veranda is indeed full, however the Goldstrike Hotel which is also hosting some of the events still has rooms available. Try calling them, the number is 1-888-24k-stay There are also several other Hotels near Tunica. Try surfing the net for Hotels in Tunica and see what you find. But the Goldstrike should have some vacancies. Good Luck!

I was informed by my chapter Basileus that our Immediate Past Regional Director lost nearly everything in the flood (4 inches of H20 got inside her home) last week in Texas (ALL contents, including 2 cars). We might want to keep her in our prayers, as well as our other Regional Sorors affected, including our 18th Supreme Basileus AND our 21st Supreme Basileus.

Way to search!!

Its a whole year later and I was wondering what sorors will be attending this year in Little Rock? There is a TERRIBLE hotel situation going on in Little Rock!!! I may have to stay 5 blocks away!:( Are any sorors having hotel probs? Is anyone going this year.this is my second regionals I will be there as a new member of the graduate chapter.

I hope there is not a hotel problem. It seems as though we go through this every year. They tell you to wait and then get in touch with the hotels, then by the time you do...for some strange reason they are all booked. I'm going to try to call today. I called about a month ago and didn't have any luck at one hotel.

I plan to be at regionals, but accomodations are looking to be a problem. I have an LS who lives in Little Rock and was hoping to stay with her, but well... so was the rest of the chapter. LOL... I guess we'll wait and see. :)

I'm going. I received my registration papers Saturday at meeting. Our only dilemma so far is deciding what bus line to use. I think we have a Soror handling our hotel arrangements.

I'm burned out from doing scrapbooks...

Hi Sorors. I am sorry so many of you are worried about hotel accomadations. I am a member of the "Ever So Pretty" Epsilon Phi Chapter here at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. We are one of the host undergrad chapters. We are looking so forward to having the conferance here. I was at a rehersal for the prayer breakfast less than 2 hours ago and some of the sorors were talking about the overflow hotels being used, meaning if you have not got a room there are still some available, they are just at a different hotel than where the conferance is being held. The overflow hotel is across the river from the host hotel and by what I understand there will be shuttles running around the clock. Don't worry the Arkansas cluster has it all under control. If anyone has any other questions e-mail me on the DL. Also if any of you want to know about the hot spots in "the Rock" get at me. Hurry because they are far and few between.

I am on Spring Break Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! No more students Yeah!!!!!


I woud love to meet some of you all in person. I just got my new financial card today. I will be there on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I am officially a prophyte as of Sunday so I don't have to help plan. :p :p

what's the weather like up there, including the lows?

I know I could watch TWC, but I like to hear it from those who LIVE there and actually FEEL it! LOL

Today April 1, it was nice: sunny, the high was 75 degrees, this evening was kinda cool, maybe 50 or 55 drgrees. It is supossed to be like this for the rest of the week bit htat does not mean anything. Last week it was supposed to be sunny and it rained all week. I hope the weather is good all week. I would recommend that you pack a jacket at least, maybe even a coat for the late evenings.

Regional Conference
 

The South Central Regional Conference was wonderful!! I saw several Sorors from my chapter..

If you didn't attend...you definitely missed a treat. I even met Soror AKA2d91.

Skee-ya at Boule' sorors...and remember....items must be 'received' by April 15th to avoid the late fee.

I had a good time, considering a few mishaps getting there and back.
