First off let me say that Lem and that not having a mustache, but has a beard, and that bald head is not a good look for him.

I felt really bad for Terry when dude told her the sex was that good....broke face.

Lem is straight stupid, cuz Baron is going to take him down.

That Ahmad thing was so messed up....all in all this is going to be a very good season.

My ghetto side came out last night - as I was calling up Comcast to order Showtime about 10 minutes before Soul Food came on. You know I was like, "uh...can you turn it on....right now...thanks".

My commentary:

Teri - Can I please get a recap of what really happened and how she and Damon broke up? LMAO off the dude for saying "the sex wasn't really that good". I know she was like :mad: Not feeling the Damon look-a-like. Sorry...no one can replace my man.

Ahmad - Little cutie has been working out! The little white girl who always tags along with him is rather tall.

Lem - this fool is 'bout to get his whole dang family shot up. IDIOT.

Next week's episode: LMAO at them talking about sending that little girl to boarding school. They need to send her for some counseling for all that trauma she's had being locked in her dang bedroom for 4 seasons.

Lem looked like a monkey w/the mustache gone and I have to say he is PLAYING the heck out of that role b/c did anyone else see the pre-show party snippets when Darren was talking. I wasn't looking but when I heard it I was like "That bet not be Lem." It shole was. I was like "oh yeah, he is switch hittin' for real." He is playing the itsh out of the thug role...dam!

They showed Damon leaving Terri on the last show of season 4. She ran out the hous and jumped on his back. They showed a little bit last night during the snippet season from last season.

Lem- I'm hurt. I thought he was soooo fine. That naked upper lip, bald head look needs to go. And I saw and heard him talking before the show came on and I was like, "Naaaaw say it ain't soooo. He can't be. Say it ain't so lawd, say it ain't so." I met him a couple of summers ago at the African Arts Festival in Brooklyn and he seemed like straight to me. Maybe he was acting. :(

And Lem needs to tell "old blood (can't remember his name) that the FBI is after him to cover his own butt, b/c he don't mind killing women and most likely children.

Max- I have locks, so I'm partial to locked hairstyles and her hair was lovely.

Ahmad- he's entering the world of a black man. He needs to take heed of his father's words on how to deal with society's ignorance.

Terri - "the sex wasn't that great anyways.":o I don't think she's turned into a hoe or anything, I think she's hurting and feels that another man will help her forget Damon. But we know that ain't so. She needs to take the mask off and purge all that mess she got bottled up.

MMm-hm, I did see the snippet of Terri jumping on Damion's back calling him a f-ing A-hole. I thought it was just flashbacks of something I missed but good for me, they have to now go into depth re: what happened. Maybe he will make a few appearances.

Ahmad has been pumping some baby iron, too. He's cute and I need the white girl to get off his sac!

Ok - I'm watching now and I just saw the Terri and Eric part. :eek: Definitely NOT what she needed to hear.

I feel bad for Ahmad too and even though it's not real, I'm angry for him. Booooo!! at that girl asking if it was "cool" to be in jail. :eek::eek::rolleyes:

Lem is still cute to me., The hair is not that great but he's still cute. I don't know about this Baron business. On one hand, he needs to warn the baron and then let that mess go. On the other hand, he should turn the Baron in and look out for himself so he can be there for his family. I mean Baron is a bad guy, as glossy as he is.

I'm loving max's hair too. I'm feeling for her on the Ahmad issue.

I felt SO BAD for Teri when Eric told her that she wasn't good in the bed, and I feel even worse that her man(in real life) Damon isn't on the show! The introduction part just wasnt' the same without him(I thought he was going to be a regular guest star?)

Ahmad cussing and carrying out was a bit much for me, how old is he on the show now?

They claim he is still 14 but I really thought he was at least 16 by now.

What's going on with Ahmad's lips? Is that vaseline? gloss? :confused:

I didn't really feel sorry for Teri. She's not really "herself" right now. Grieve, but don't think sleeping with other men is going to fill the void you have.

I told y'all last year that Darrin DeWitt Henson is a switch hitter, sad to say. I saw him about 2 years ago up in NY, and he is so not straight. He's married as well with some rugrats.

Let me start with the Kelly thing last night. I thought last season she tested below average, and this season she can't read. I'm not understanding how she went from reading, to not being able to read. Did anyone notice that when they had diiner in the last scene that the youngest of Kenny and Max wasn't there. I saw Brook in one scene, but I don't remember seeing her in that scene. I saw Jeremiah, but no Brook, what up with that?!

Now this Terri thing, ole girl just really needs to get a grip on things. First off getting dude transferred because he reminded her of Damon, and then the scene in the coffee house, come Terri you are really loosing it.......and then she has sex with the Damon look alike. She really needs to go back to therapy because Damon really messed her up. I see her having a melt down really soon......Oh and as for the Damon look alike....ummm I like him.:D

1. Yeah I peeped that Brooke had a Cousin Pete dinner. They need to remember to include both children. Pretty soon Brooke will have a complex.

2. Yeah Kelli went from mildly special ed to not knowing bird versus boy. . .Then after one session girlfriend was reading again. I was not a special ed teacher or nothing but it seems to me that whatever method ol girl uses should be more widespread.

3. Delivery man looks like an android.

4. Terri get a dayum grip. I thought she was about to ask ol dude for the name of the scent to buy it for Lem or Kenny. . . silly me. I would have told her to speed on. I was hoping that that sex scene was imagined. I sure as hell hope so because dude is not cute.

5. Uncute last night: Bird's permed mullet flip, Terri's stankadank attitude, Lem's lip, Max's jealousy, Brooke gets to go upstairs to use the bathroom and never came back down :(

Yep. Regarding Terri. Ummmmmmm move on!

You can tell this is going to be the last season.

LMAO what Bird said about Loomis on accident. Not so appropriate but that was her opinion. I also wasn't feeling how the beautician in Bird's shop was talking to her....had that been someone at my beauticians shop talking to my beautican like that......ummm well it wouldn't be too pretty. I was looking for a way to describe him and, by George, I think you've got it! Ol' boy is NOT attractive.

I teach special ed and if they can hook me up with that special technique, I would have it made. Anyway, this "special school" spells trouble. That lady just looks a bit shifty.

shifty as in if there was a season 6, it would revolve around Kelly being kidnapped. :o


Oh and the beautician who got fly at the mouth would have been reminded who worked for whom and who could fire whom. Ya HEARD ME!?!?!?!

I thought something was shiesty about the teacher. I thought when Maxine checked out her credentials she was going find something on her.

I became suspect when she said she wanted PRIVATE sessions.

IMO, I see why the teacher asked for Private Sessions because the teacher was speaking with Kelly and before the poor child could answer, Maxine was answering the questions and I don't feel the teacher could properly evaluate the child with Maxine butting in everytime she asked Kelly a question.

I think the teacher is a bit extreme with only offering the full scholarship for these two semesters and basically forcing Kenny and Maxine to make a rush and haste decision. If the teacher is really interested in helping Kelly then IMO, I believe the scholarship should be open or at least give them more than 24 hours to think it over......because that is their daughter and as parents you hate to let go.....

I did NOT appreciate Bird and Terri's attitude about Max's locs. Although many people do share their opinions but it's not as if Max lets her hair go wild. I mean she has manicured locs :rolleyes:

Terri better have been dreaming about that mailman especially cos he's not cute AND especially because she cannot go out like that. She needs to get it together.

About the teacher, they need to watch her. That was so shady how she said the scholarship was available but next semester they have to apply and alllllll that extra stuff. If she truly wanted to help Kelly, she'd have it available when they were ready for her to attend.

I don't trust the teacher either. I don't think Max and Kenny should've let Kelly (po' Kelly) go.

I'm also not feeling:
1) the delivery guy. NO! He's not cute.
2) Terri--what's up w/her and her hair? I, too, was hoping it was a dream she was having.
3) Lem's bare face----ughhhhhh!

This season, to me, is just ok. Hopefully it will end w/a bang.

The teacher: I thought her proposal was a little shady. Hopefully Max and Lenny made the right decision. I did think however, that Max was showing a bit of jealousy, but that his her baby and she can do that.

Lem: Grow a back the beard and the hair. I'm still trippin over that pre-show party from last week where he sounded like he was a switch hitter.
Oh and he needs to tell "Old Blood" what's going on b/c he'll kill him and family.

Bird: Her character is irritating to me. I didn't like what she said about Max's locs. But as a sistah with a head full of locs (and I don't think they're dreadful either) I've been insulted time and time again.


Terri: I hope it was a dream; otherwise, she is treading on the hoe road.

The delivery man: I thought he had a funny shaped head, but was aight looking-not androidish.

I couldn't quite figure out who Lem reminded me of until I read your post #1 Leading Lady, but you hit the nail on the head with the monkey thing. I think he looks awful this season.

Dat dayum Kenny know he can hold a grudge. . .just because your mama only had custody of one child does not mean you don't have to not see her for 20 years. All this time I thought his mom was dead. . .


And Damon's birth mama showing up. . .thought she was dead too. What is with these coming out of the dark mamas. Next thing you know Lynette will come back.

Cut Kenny some slack, he was left with the abusive parent, and mom moved to another city. Its hard to be rational when you're the one that's left behind. I'd be a little angry too.

Its cool how Ahmad was able to get Kenny to see things differently. But I'm tired of Ahmad being in 9th grade (if he's so dang smart why he keep repeating the same class)!

I don't understand why Lem just didn't tell Baron from the beginning that the FBI was trying to sqeeze him - Baron would have taken care of it...now his behind is in deep and Lem is going to be in trouble.

Ok, I saw the show last night, but of course you know I can't stand Lem and his hairless lip, but last night I got fixated on his upper lip. It looked as if it had dry skin there or some razor bumps. I was like this is not good at all.

As for Kenny, I thought his mom was dead as well. Also did anyone see the credits when the show came on? It listed Hill harper as F. Hill Harper..... I'm like where did the F come from.

1. I wanted to go get him some cocoa butter or something for that lip.

2. I peeped the F too and thought maybe it would be a different actor. . . ummm I never even knew Kenny had a brother.

You thought the same thing I thought. I thought it was going to be a differnt Hill Harper. So now I'm wondering who is the other Hill Harper. I didn't know Kenny had a brother either, you would have thought that he was an only child. Something else I don't get is why has Max never met his mom. I mean I understand that Kenny has issues with abandonment by her, but Max was sending all thouse pics of the family through the years. I don't understand why the mother didnt reach out. I mean she had those pics displayed all proudly.
