Barely is right! I was born and raised here in Ohio! The farthest South my family history goes is West Virginia! The rest of the family is from Pennsylvania and the New England states originally! Hmmmmmmmmm......

i was born in philadelphia but i grew up in florida. i am 66% dixie

How can I be 59% Dixie when I have never resided outside New York, Arizona, or California? :eek: Of course, its not a bad thing to be Dixie, I'm just surprised is all.

Interesting cause mom and dad are from the Chicago area (Calumet region of NW IN) but with dad being an AF Officer, we were mainly stationed in the south when I was growing up...

TX, MS, FL, Germany, WA, CA and Central OH for years. Otherwise I would consider myself very midwestern :)

I'd say pretty accurate having been born and raised in North Florida and gone to college in South Georgia.

ETA: Hmmm...first time I took it, I was trying to go quickly so I could get my first reaction, but I made mistakes and didn't clear the whole thing. I tried it again and didn't make any mistakes (like I had the first time) and got 90%. That sounds a little more likely. The last question is one I used to fight about with Northerners when I was a child!!! LOL!

ME TOO 61% dixie and I've never left Cali for more than 3 months at a time.... WEIRD... but, of course they didn't ask if I say Hella !! that would've pegged me to Northern Cali very quickly ;)

I was born in SOUTH Carolina but moved to GA when I was 5 and scored 54%.
Hubby was born in Alaska but grew up mostly in Buffalo, NY until moving to Alabama at 15. He scored 69%;)
