Well, it happened...
 

I haven't been on GC in a couple of days but on Thursday Mr. TrideltaGal PROPOSED!
And of course I said yes! So, now I am preparing for the daunting task of planning a 200+ wedding for probably April 2005 (so that will make me a couple of months shy of 24 and he will be 25)

I went by the sorority house the day after and it was anarchy! Everyone was screaming and practically attacking me!

Here is the proposal story. So, I knew I was getting the ring soon since we had gone to a family member for the ring who is a jeweler. She said it would be ready before Valentine's Day but I asked him to please not do it on that day because it seemed really cliche and too predicable. So on Thursday, I came home from work completely obilivious and when I opened the door, there he was on one knee with the box opened and our little english bulldog sitting right next to him with a bow on (the dog not Mr. Tridelt :) ). I was completely shocked and surprised and just kept saying "O my God" and "Are you joking?"... he completely got me. He later said that he knew he would have to surprise me because if he had asked me to go walk on the beach, it would have totally given it away but the way he did was perfect...nothing too over the top and just sweet.

Good Luck with your wedding planning. I haven't even really started yet, it's just like this big monster sitting next to me waiting to pounce on me...it all so overwhelming but luckily I have lots of help with my and his family. Also, I just asked my friend to be my maid of honor and she is soo stoked to help.

Yes, I was extremely lucky I found someone who loves me enough to support my diamond addiction. The total carat weight is 3.3 (entire ring)... some lady at work today asked me "Is it real?" which I thought was so funny because thinking about it, it is a pretty big ring for a 22 year old with very small hands! But, coming from a family with a jeweler and a large Italian family, large diamonds just come with the territory! So, yes cutiepatootie and AstroAPhi I did get some BLING. HaHa!!

But, I would have honestly said yes even if he could only get me a Cracker Jack ring.... he is an amazing person and I am so blessed I found him so early in my life.


SO, get ready GC...I'm going to be asking for lots of advice!
