I don't know how to make my posts "pretty"

I cannot figure out how to use this vb code thing on here. I read the directions under "help" and it just says "color teal" in my reply...I tried to practice it on a thread I posted that no one had replied to. Maybe this computer is not advanced enough for it...(I'm at work on a crappy one).

ZTAngel 02-14-2004 05:56 PM

There's a post I made in this thread that shows how to make your signature. :)

ztakrissy 02-14-2004 05:56 PM

ztakrissy 02-14-2004 06:09 PM

ZTAngel gave me this advice a while back-- I found it for you in a previous post... this is what she said:::

Here's how to make a signature:

Go to your user control panel. At the top of your screen you'll see a button that says user cp. Go to edit profile. You'll see a place where you can put in your signature.

Now, if you want ZTA with the torquoise and gray, copy this signature code I have here except delete any spaces I have included. (I put the spaces in so you can see the code instead of it showing up in the pretty colors and letters)

[ b ] Z TA[/ font][/ size][/ b][/ color]

Pretty much follow that pattern for any color, font, or size you want.

I did it!

Yay! I finally got the vb code thing to work! This website is not very user friendly...that stuff is like a foreign language. I wish it had a spot for you to test it out instead of looking silly like I did... heehee

ztabchbum 02-16-2004 08:59 PM

CONGRATS on getting your signature to work! It took me a few times to get it right too, you're not the only one! :D

I dig it! What social events does your chapter have coming up?

RMUamieZTA 02-21-2004 07:30 PM

well, like i said, we had all male revue on thursday (where u can "buy" a date) and then, on this coming thursday (the 26th) we are going ice skating with the guys of Phi Delta Theta. On friday night, our school host an event called "non-alcoholic mix off" and different organizations have different tables and they serve all kinds of drinks.... for instance, i have to sit at the Greek Table (like, wear a toga!!! ) and we will serve a certain drink i cant think of what it is... but some other tables that our chapter has are a casino table, i think a mardi gras table... and a bunch of others... ill have to let u know how it goes--- but all of the drinks are non-alcoholic hense the name.. lol... Greek Week is coming up in March along with Zeta Day, and then in April we have Crown Ball... i am SOOOO excited :D what do u have planned?

ztakrissy 02-22-2004 11:15 AM

We have a swap with Alpha Tau Omega next Friday. A cops and robbers theme :) Then the next night they are having a big party called Allapalooza and they invited us to that. March 6th is Zeta Day at Mississippi State and we're all heading down there Friday night to take a tour of Miss State's sorority house. (It's gorgeous!) Then we have a swap planned with sigma epsilon in March...we don't know the theme yet. We also have "Stuff the Bra" in March (we try to get people to "stuff the bra" with money for Susan G. Komen.) and in April we will have a margaritaville swap with Lambda Chi Alpha, then May we're going to have a semi-formal on a riverboat--won't that be pretty?! I'm excited about that. We always have our crown ball in the Fall. I won an award at the last one: "Smartest Strawberry" for having the best GPA that semester. I felt special! :)

RMUamieZTA 02-23-2004 06:18 PM

have fun at the cops and robbers party!! for your stuff the bra fundraiser, how is that set up? it sounds like a great idea!! The Smartest Strawberry award is a great idea too!! I am scholarship chair so I think I might use that one if ya dont mind!! The riverboat sounds fun too!! We go to Homecoming in the fall together... so I think that is sorta like a semi-formal dance for us... do you give out awards and other items at your semi-formal too??? Have fun at the Miss State house!! That sounds awesome too.... :) Oh, and I got your e-mail.. i will write back soon... just been a very busy day:p
ZL!

ztakrissy 02-23-2004 07:55 PM

We gave out awards like Zeta Goddess and EC officer of the year that kind of stuff at formal. I don't think we will give out awards at semi-formal this spring. Also at Formal (Fall) we recognized our new members and gave them roses. I think they were not initiated yet...I can't remember.... Formal was fun too because a bunch of alums came and we had a humongous candelight that night also. We left our dates upstairs and went down to another room to have it. It was kinda cool. I love chapter meetings when I have good grades because we put them in this little bucket almost like our white violet bucket and our scholarship chair calls out the good grades and throws candy or treats our way. Do you have a white violet bucket at your meetings?? We write funny notes to each other and put them in there....inside jokes or just shout-outs. I usually write funny ones or say I luv my big and little...stuff like that. We usually sing a chapter song too.

RMUamieZTA 02-24-2004 11:35 AM

We dont have a White Violet bucket, or a grades bucket!! I think if we did that we wouldnt get out til after 11... our meetings start at 9.45, so we try to keep them somewhat short-- on average, they last about an hour. We do sing a chapter song every week... it is fun! Im going to let social chair know about your awesome awards! they sound really cool... we also have to start putting formal books together.. :) im excited to do that.. :D
