I was so surprised that there was no Superbowl thread that I decided to start one!


Well, we're only a few minutes in so I haven't much to comment on at the moment.


I'm neither here nor there as far as both teams go. Nonetheless, I usually pick a side and this year I think the Patriots will do it.


Oop! Looks like the Pats just missed their chance to get on the board with that field goal going wide. <sigh>

So far, the first Bud Light Commercial (with the dogs) is the best....of course, we're just nearing the end of the first. Long time to go still.

Friday night, my vote was PANTHERS, 19-13 ;) . . .now I'll be impressed if the score is 3-0.

I liked the commercial they just showed with the donkey auditioning to be a Budwesier clydesdale. The answer to his interview question, and the reaction he got, was too funny. LOL

I don't have any real rooting interests in this game. I don't like or hate one team more than the others.

The dogs and Cedric the Entertainer commercials were cool, and I liked the one with Muhammad Ali. And the Jessica Simpson one for Pizza Hut. But overall this year the quality of the commercials is way down.

Kyle Boller of the Raven is MUCH cuter! Believe me, he is just gorgeous. Not much of a QB though.

But Tommy is cute, with that dimple in his chin :)

I mean Timberlake sang "Rock your body" which was the newest song there..not to mention that I beleive he was the only one who did not lip sync....if you watched closely you'll probably agree.


Anyhow--about the boob thing...I don't thyink that was really a naked boob. I think we were just supposed to use our imaginations. You know he says "Gonna have ya naked by the end of this song."


All in all not a bad halftime show...it was just kinda random...


ALSO--- What motivation did Jessica Simpson serve? She didn't even sing.

My all-time favorite halftime was the one a few years ago with Aerosmith, NSync, Britney, Nelly, and a bunch of others. THat one seriously rocked.

There was a nipple?? I thought that it looked like some kind of bodysuit. I mean this is CBS we're talking about...they can't even say shit. I am surprised. Perhaps that's why there was only a flash. They did it before the cameras could realize it. I guaruntee the network didn't agree to that. They get hefty fines for things like that.
