Pet Peeves...what are yours?
 

Okay, I know there's been thread's like this before, but this is the new improved one of 2004!

One of my pet peeves is people with their tags sticking out of their shirts, you have NOOOO idea how much I want to run up to random people and fix them! lol

Another is something that just gets to me...I work at Starbucks...and we get this people who come in and what they order just totally frustrates me! People that order the "extra extra white chocolate mocha's" with extra whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top...and then order NON-FAT milk *sigh*..is anyone in agreeance with me here?!

What are the rest of your pet peeves?

Not entirely...that's like when people complain about people that order McDonalds crap and then order a diet Coke with it.

I sometimes eat at McDonalds and I always order a diet Coke. Not because I think it'll be better for me, but because I am a diabetic.

My biggest pet peeve is white socks with black pants and black shoes.

One of mine is people talking with food in their mouths ir chewing with their mouths open. My roommate does this ALL the time and I am always asking her to stop.

...or people who eat really loudly, or always smacking their lips together when they eat. I don't need to hear you. My brother does this and I am always yelling at him.

im sorry for any biters out there. but when people bite their fingernails it drives me up the wall.

I get annoyed by people who sigh all the time. Not kust once in a while but like audible breathing and sighing every 5 minutes.

1) I used to work at Radio Shack. Anyone in Consumer Electronics Retail can commiserate with me. Old people that buy electronics -- If you think I'm talking about you, you're wrong. You have a computer and were most likely able to find the on switch without too much personal assistance. If you're too dumb to read the instructions, don't buy it :D

2) People who have a high sense of entitlement. Thinking the government or other people will always provide for them. If I see a panhandler, I'm tempted to kick the guy in the teeth. There are folks that are unemployable, but I've really never seen those folks out begging for $.

3) American tourists... I am one, but I'm talking about the typical American tourists. White socks and sneakers, can be picked out of a crowd overseas with great ease. They go to Spain and expect enchiladas and nachos.:rolleyes:

People that let their dogs bark all night long. Our neighbor does it and I have asked her many time to handle the situation but she thinks if she ignores the dog she will stop..........UH NO!!!

(1) People with fake purses. ESPECIALLY Louis Vuitton ones. I work at the mall, so I must see like twenty fake Louis Vuitton bags a day...it REALLY annoys me. Like honestly, its not that hard to see that your huge white purse with the Louis Vuitton colored monogram on it is fake when the letters are cut off at the seam and the colors are very odd. Oh...and the "burberry" purses with the coloring slightly off...like honestly, anyone who knowshis/her purses KNOWS that its fake. ARGGHHH Oh yea, and those coach imitation purses with the little gs on them (not the actual gucci ones of course)

(2) People who are RUDE or curse too much.

(3) People with bad B.O. Honestly, spray some perfume, put on some deodorant, and TAKE A SHOWER! No one wants to smell you!

liars/hypocrites (don't stand at the pulpit and act so reverent when I know what you said and did last weekend.)

I think it is bullchit that only warm weather cities get to host the Super Bowl. Every NFL city should be able to host the Super Bowl. I don't care if it's 20 below.

people who try to be GC mods when they are not............bad bathroom habits, general untidy/unneatness, general disorganization (for example papers and bills etc. strung all over a desk), irresponsible pet owners/breeders, most reality shows, greeks who do obviously stupid things such as hazing or killing and skinning a rabid raccoon thus putting greek life in a negative light..............


I'm extremely picky and particular. Lots of things tick me off or get under my skin.......this list is never ending.

1 Those who come in and cant remember what they smoke and expect me to.

2 People that can only tell what they want by what the packageing looks like.

3 People who cannot count their money or figure it out.

4 People who will not break a 1.00 $ bill but run out to their car to get change with other people waiting in line.

5 People who come in to a business and do not have enough money in their pockets to buy something and want me to give it to them.

6 People who want to bum a cig and then see them at the Liquor store buying liquor and are still short.

People who don't say bless you when you sneeze, when you always say bless you to them.

People who don't say thank you when you hold the door for them, I'm not even talking about when they're right behind you, it's moreso the people who you see and actually wait for them to come and they don't say thank you.

Drivers who block my street so I can't get out.

Drivers who don't signal thank you when you let them go in front of you.

Drivers who don't use their signals.

People who chew with their mouths open.

People who don't cover their mouths when they cough.

Now how did I forget THESE??? OOOOOOOOOh these steam me to no end!

Bad drivers. Especially the ones that tailgate you at 80mph on the interstate, pass you on the right, cut you off, slam on their brakes, and flip you the bird... :rolleyes: :mad:

People who act like the laws apply to every one except for them.

I work in a place where we take the HIPAA laws very seriously. If I say I can't release info to you, I can't do it. No matter how much you whine,pled,beg,cry. If it's not for you to kow, you're not going to know. If I told you stuff that is none of your business, I'd be breaking the law. And I know good and well, you are not going to put up bail money for me

people that bite their nails in front of me...or when i was still down at school and people would come in my dorm room hang out and then start picking at their toe nails :eek: yes people actually did that one!

That's becuase they play in a dome. Cold weather cities that have real stadiums don't get to host the game.

Wrong. I used to have season tickets and I have seen plenty of games in sub-zero conditions while you were at home curled up with a bag of chips.

Also a wrong statement, because it is more than just a bag of chips (i.e. beef jerky, beer, egg rolls, deer meat, summer sossage (sp?), punch, pizza, and a bunch of brothers, etc etc).

Hello? Don't assume I would understand what are you talking about, maybe mostly because I am dumb. ISU could be anything, babe, starts from Iowa State University, Indiana State University, Idaho State University, Illinois State University ... got my point?

Had a really simple question about a DVD player, asked, and received some long-winded answer that had NOTHING to do with what I asked. Had the guy go get me the manual for the DVD player and answered my own damn question in about 30 seconds.

lastly i HATE HATE to be late i am always early! i cant stand ppl who are late either

Also, it drives me crazy when people don't say thank you after they sneeze and I say "bless you." What the hell?

People who don't show up to things when they say they're coming... people who can't call you back after you leave them a few messages on their voice mail.

People...who...spell...stuff...wrong.

Maybe it's just because they are typing fast when on the GC or whatever, but it drives me nuts when you spell things like your college major or your job wrong. Wow, I'm really impressed with the smart ladies your sorority has been taking. :rolleyes:

I hate it when people spell "definitely" as "definately." I hate that more than any other spelling or grammar foul-up. :mad:
