What's the stupidest thing you've ever done??

Me....told a guy I liked that I didnt like his sister...

Broke up with my girlfriend b/c I still love her and want to marry her. We are still broken up, but I'm trying to get her back.

drove 33 miles over the speed limit on the highway and nearly lost my license - yikes!

s*it, too many things to name......here's just a few to get started....

*Drank so much on my birthday last year I got alcohol poisoning and almost had to go to the hospital.

*got three speeding tickets in a month.

*drunk-dialed a former romantic interest or two.....

*blew off a nice, cute guy because I didn't think he was good enough for me (grew up in a house trailer--yes, I was being a snob--didn't go to college, etc.) but used him as a date to my office Christmas party last year.....then I fell for him. Needless to say, after my previous attitude toward him, he was NOT interested.

I know there are more but that's all I can think of now.

I "flew" in a '78 Lincoln Continental Mark V once... (3 ton car) -- ramped over some steep rural railroad tracks. Lots of sparks.

There was the time we went out to a friend's land during a burn band and shot off fireworks in the middle of a field full of dry grass. Had to stomp out grass fires after each firework display :D

*Sniffed paint when I was 15. I got high and very violent. It was a scary experience. My first and last time.

*Walked outside with my bra on a few months ago. Also, it was like 40 degrees outside. This was drug induced too, but unintentional. I didn't know that drinking lots of caffeine and taking Adderall and Tylenol cold within 8 hours would make me soooooo spacey.

*Chose to go to this school.

*Quit my sorority.

*Bit a clock and chipped my teeth when I was 6.

*Faked a seizure when I was in 7th grade.

*Put something similar to a bottle rocket in this biotch's locker in 8th grade. It didn't go off though.

I sat Peyton Manning and his wife when I was a hostess and said to him... "You look a lot like Peyton Manning" and he winked at me and said "That's what they all say..." Yeah, I felt REALLY stupid and my friends still make fun of me about it.

um dumbest things....
drinking about 10 red bull and vodkas( all diff kinds vodkas) and then just started drinking straight out of the bottle.... yea alcohol poisoning for this girl.... eek

depledging a sorority before i came to nu sig (but i'm better off for it- but i will always regret it anyway)
getting too attached to a guy..... esp when he's just a hookup... that went on for 8 months too long
i'm sure there are otehrs... but most have to do with alcohol....eek... (but i have a damn good time! :eek: )

Oooh...and another one....three tickets (maybe four?) in less than three months. My parents hate me right now LOL

OMG, I guess since I'm a TN girl I have to know who he is...or I would probably get tared and feathered and hung by my feet.

He's a former QB for the Big Orange (UTK, to most y'all) and now he's the starring QB for the Colts.

Not checking my friend's outfit last week. We drove an hour to the "big city" to meet a friend and go shopping. We got to the mall and she looked down at her feet. Homegirl had on

ONE BLACK AND ONE BROWN BOOT

with

TWO DIFFERENT SOCKS

and a

GRAY PURSE

and of course we saw people we knew. She tried to blame ME for not giving her the once over. Now all clothing and accessory choices and approved by me or one other friend, no further incidents.

Oh once I fell off the treadmill at the gym while singing ABBA loudly.

Hmmm, really dumb stuff I did...
*Decided I could pass Organic Chemistry without ever going to class...well I did pass, but a D wasn't exactly the grade I was going for!
*Got in a huge fight last year with someone who was one of my best friends, and things still aren't the same between us. The worst part is, I can't even remember what we were fighting about, but it was blown waaaay out of proportion.
*The weekend of the big ice storm last winter, driving 4 hours back to school because I had a test the next day and was soooo certain they wouldn't cancel class b/c my university NEVER cancels class. Guess what? They cancelled class.

And this was all my sophomore year of college...someone must have been repeatedly beating me with the stupid stick that year or something; I don't know what was going on in my head with all those stupid things.

I'm sure there's plenty of other dumb things I've done, but those are what I came up with off the top of my head. :p

let myself get all emotional over something that i had no control over...and allowed myself to feel badly.

Taken this god-awful job. I would give anything to work somewhere else. Even going back to retail management sounds like a good idea at this point.....

hmmmmmmmm so many.......which one to choose..........I'll stick to the most recent.....I spent 351 bucks on plane tickets to see someone that i found out a week or so later was not worth 351 bucks much less my time of day.....they paid me back though so it's all good but still........rather stupid on my part. I learned from it and it will NEVER happen again.

The stories are many and varried. It might be easier to say what I've done that is smart.

That answer might take some research, though.

Blew my college education on beer, socializing, and boys. I graduated, I have two degrees - but man did I waste time and money in the process!!!:eek: I had a wonderful time and wouldn't change parts of it for anything, but if I had to do it all over again, I would go to class and study.

* got my wisdom teeth extracted. I am going to have one major talking to that oral surgeon, dentist, and orthodontist who all talked me into taking them out. :mad:

* decided to date a guy that was way too old for me and he turned into a real jackass.

Cut off my Marcia Brady hair before 7th grade. I was in Hair Hell for the next 6 years. :p

Edited to add stupidest thing I ever DIDN'T do: didn't walk completely away from my first boyfriend, i.e. follow my impulse, and stuck with the a-hole for another 2 1/2 months.

#1 was definitely falling asleep with my sunglasses on while sunbathing the day of a fraternity formal, wow, I was very very stupid.

Pretending to be sick in high school so I wouldn't have to go to school to take a test, but then I had to drive to the school to drop off these certificates that I had made for a service organization event, and in the parking lot, got into an accident.

This reminded me.....

All I did was shop in college. I should have saved the money I spent so now that I'm out making a s*it salary I would have a nice little nest egg.....

my stupid thing....

accepted a dare and 'stalked' my high school geometry teacher. it was the summer after i graduated. i should not have done it that one time. cause it turned into an obsession that me and my friend had. we werent obsessed with him, we just could not get enough of the rush that came from the thought of getting caught. after three months, my teacher caught on and threatened to call the cops if we came back. we did come back a couple of times after that. ;) whoops!!!

Ooh, thought of another one. When I was 15, I went on a bus trip to Budapest, Hungary. On this trip were a bunch of people including my parents, my 14-year-old friend, her parents, and another 16-year-old friend. We were warned not to go anywhere at night, apparently Budapest is really dangerous after dark, but us being young and stupid, we decided to sneak out on our last night. So the three of us, plus this 20-year-old girl and this 35-year-old guy who were on our trip all snuck out and went to find a club. We had a lot of fun and all...but that was such a stupid thing to do on so many levels. Looking back, I'm really surprised that something bad didn't happen to us.

Tried to date 3 guys at the same time.

Tonight I realized I overdrew my checking account, resulting in a negative balance and fees from one retailer. That was pretty stupid. :mad:

pissed on my suitemates bed (long story)

I've done a lot of stupid things:

- Dated a bunch of losers
- Loaned money to losers

- my first year at this school, I messed it up bad and still paying for it..guess I was just homesick most of the time :(

-drove 2 hours to lansing without engine oil in my car (ignored the engine sign) and you can take a wild guess what happened after that.

-walking to the gym at 5:30 am in the morning (ok, I live in detroit and you just don't do that)

Oh goodness, I have the same problem... :(

*Waiting an extra semester to rush. Had I joined sooner, the brothers would have helped me more quickly fix my GPA problem (WAY too much fun my sophomore year), and I wouldn't have flunked out of school.

*After flunking out of school, deciding to join the Navy to pay to return to school (not that it was bad, but I was away for two years, where I otherwise could have started school again sooner)

*My wife and I finding out "we're pregnant" while still in graduate school, and the worst part of the pregnancy (morning sickness) reaching it's peak during comps!

*Accepting each and every credit card offer I got in the mail during college (took EIGHT years to pay off - oy!)

*Not looking further into who my new neighbors were when we bought our house - now we're in a LONG lawsuit over property rights - LONG story.

Props to you for paying that off, though...not a lot of people do that. I'm really impressed.

To be honest I haven't done anything majorly stupid....but I am always WAY too hard on myself, which is stupid b/c I know I shouldn't be. No one can make me feel as horrible as I can, if that makes any sense. It's definitely tops drinking too much, being overdrawn, or losing a credit card.

For being Married 20 years and 20 Days when I could have divorced the Broad Did Not say Bitch, and gone to work for My International.

Oh God, how they would have hated me, to firey! But what can I say!

Well not knocking Her of the bar stool and starting My Own Local!!!!!!!!!!! Yea Me!

Sooo many things...

- Dated this one loser way too long instead of listening to my friends and dumping him
- Did some work for a client who treated me unprofessionally and tried to stiff me on the bill
- Tried to drive to work the day after a big snowstorm last year, and smashed my car into a guard rail

There are others. I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you... ;)
