Baths vs. Showers
Which one keeps you the cleanest?
My vote goes to showers. When you're taking baths you're sitting in the dirt that comes off of your body! Some people say baths keep you cleaner because your body soaks. |
I say showers.
|
i am a shower person. i love baths every once in awhile. but they are too much work. when i take a bath i go all out and put all kinds of stuff in the tub
|
showers!
I have a water phobia and can actually not bring myself to sit in a bath. Showers are fine, but even that little bit of standing water in a bathtub scares me! |
I am a bath girl. I love soaking in the tub for hours and reading. BUT, I usually take a shower after the bath unless it's at night and I'm going to shower in the morning anyway.
I used to get in trouble in high school because I would take such long baths I'd use up all the hot water. |
Haven't had a bath in years.
Showers are just faster. |
On the rare occassions when I take a bath, I rinse off in the shower after it.
My friend's mother has a theory that everyone should take a bath at least once in a while to clean out the 'nooks and crannies' that a shower missed, lol. |
SHowers... the dirty comes off rather than soaking around u...
|
Showers. They seem cleaner!! Even when I have baths (usually once or twice a month), I feel that I have to rinse off with the shower. I think it has to do with my sensitive skin and the fact that soap may irritate me if I don't rinse well (I only take bubble baths).
|
I take showers to get clean, I take baths to relax 9but then I rinse off or take an official shower)
|
Showers.
I like baths - they're very relaxing, especially with bubbles, a good book, and a glass of cognac. :) But in my house it takes forever to draw a bath, so it's almost always the shower for me. |
I take showers. But I take baths like once or twice a week just because its so relaxing to soak in a bubble-filled tub!!!
|
Showers :) Much quicker and easier to do than a bath.
|
I "like" baths cuz they are so leisurely....but I prefer showers cuz i feel cleaner.
Plus, sometimes i make the water too hot in the bath tub, and if i sit in it to long, it makes me kinda nauseated. Isn't that weird? |
I always take a shower unless I'm really stressed.
|
A bath - up to my chin in hot water.
Wait!! That sounds like my life in general:rolleyes: |
Showers, definitely. :D
|
Showers, enough said. However, I would take warm baths to relax or feel pampered.

Shower for cleanliness...
Baths for relaxation... It's more of a hot tub experience... a small hot tub without jets... |
I hate baths. I don't think I've had a bath since I was about 10, except for oatmeal baths one time in high school when I had hives. (I was newly allergic to penicillin, a lovely feeling.) The thought of sitting in a lot of water and just soaking and sitting holds no appeal for me.

bath with lots of bubbles..
|
both
i take a hot long liesurely bath at night with tons of my favorite bubble bath and candles and a shower inthe morning before i head out.
