Spring 2004 new members!
It is so great to hear about all of our chapters who have recruitment in the spring! Welcome to all our new members. :D
edited to add: Can't wait to hear more results! |
Zeta Iota at Miami University in Ohio had bid night tonight. i'm impatiently waiting for them to finish their celebration so that way my grand sis-dot can fill me in on how they did. i will post more when i know!
eta: ok i'm editing this so i don't post twice in a row. so i just talked to my grand sis-dot. they got 20 super cute and awesome girls. quota was 44. they are all excited about these girls though, plus it's better than the chapter has done over the past few years. i'm sure they will start cob'ing soon and work to fill up the pledge class! |
hey girls, sorry for crashing into your forum...I go to Miami University. AGD did an amazing job in recruitment this year, and they picked up some fabulous women! I can truly say that all of their hard work paid off!

I posted in the Recruitment 2003 so check it out for more details. Last I heard TU welcomed some very wonderful sisters into it's sisterhood on Sunday. Quota was 27 and when I get an update on numbers I will let you know!

gamma alpha?
I saw that gamma alpha got 16 wonderful new sisters during informal rush. I graduated in 2002 and was wondering what our chapter total was now. I am SO proud of the chapter, they are obviously doing a wonderful job and though we had some years far from quota it looks like we are back on track. So if anyone can post chapter total that would be great.

Chapter total is 140 still.(for now) Gamma Alpha has 144.
|
I forgot to add that I am also a Gamma Alpha.:D

Hi Ladies - sorry for crashing your forum, but I'm am thrilled to find out tonight that my niece was offered one of a very few COB bids for AGD at her school. She is SO excited and AGD has made a very wise choice - she is awesome!
My question is that I would like to send her something - maybe an AGD sweatshirt or something - but I'm not sure if AGD has any rules about new members wearing letters, etc (I know KD doesn't, but it seems that some GLO's do). Any suggestions of a good "welcome to the sisterhood" gift?? Thanks in advance and congratulations to AGD and my niece! |
When in doubt, squirrels, pearls and red and yellow/buff roses will do the trick!!:)
What school does she attend? Tell her about GC! :D |

red and buff roses to your neice! please tell her welcome to alpha gam from all of us! |
The only thing new members cannot wear are our armorial bearings. Getting her a letter shirt, sweatshirt, bookbag, lavalier, etc. would all be faboulous ideas!
|
Red and Buff Roses to your niece! I'm sure she would love a lettered sweatshirt or a lavaliere...plush squirrels are a very popular new member gift, too!
I remember you told me that she loved Alpha Gam during formal, I'm so glad that we bid her! It sounds like a great match all around! :) |
