Oh my gosh!!!!! my new member class was initiated today!!! AH! I am so excited! I am so proud to be an initiated sister of Chi Omega!

It's the season for Chi O initiation! Guess who will be a full sister a week from now!:)

Congratulations Everyone! My friend, Christina and the rest of her pledge class from UNCC got initiated as well this weekend!

One of the girls I met when I went back to my school for Homecoming IM'd me a few hours before initiation last week. Oh how I wish I could have been there! I haven't been at one in sooooo long....:(

My lil sis was just initiated yesterday and it was so special to me to see her become a real sister, I almost cried when she first saw me! There was another girl whose older sister just became alum last year who travelled a long distance and surprised her in the middle of the ceremony. And of course, we had a great time celebrating that night too ;) I'm still so proud to be a Chi O!

We initiated 25 new sisters yesterday! VERY EXCITING! Their first chapter was tonight, it was so great to see their smiling faces :) One girl's mom came up from Tampa for hers and another girl's sister came who was a Psi Gamma also. It was great!

Ahh, Babyhootie, your post made me so excited...I'm getting initiated starting this coming Thursday. I feel like I've been waiting for forever, and now these next few days are gonna drag on and on...But I am SUPER excited. :D

No, not a dork, I'm GLAD you were so excited about it. I will confess, there've been some crazy rumors going around, and I've been pretty nervous, so hearing you talk about how great it was is making me feel a million times better. On a sad note though, I just found out that my big sister won't be at initiation. I really really wish she could be there, but she's doing a semester abroad, and while she doesn't leave for Malta until February 3, she needs the end of this week to pack and have doctor appointments and stuff. :(

congrats everyone on your initiations! our girls will be going through theirs this coming weekend....a bit hectic seeing as how we're going through informal recruitment at the same time! wow, i feel old in our chapter now!:D

My initiation was this morning. I am SUPER proud to say that I am now a sister of Chi Omega! Too excited to type anything else right now, but I'll post soon!!! :D :D :D

BlazerCheer is on a real post-initiation high this week! She's happy because Ballerina and the other local cheerleader's mom were involved in her initiation and-- BC has signed up for a ton of activities. For instance, for Greek Week she's signed up for Tug of War, which the Chi Os will no doubt win now!:D

She also won something called the Symphony Bar for representing the Chi Omega Symphony best in her pledge class! Y'all have one happy hootie there!

Congratulations to Blazercheer! I am so happy to welcome her as a sister! Tell her congratulations about the Symphony Bar, I received the equivalent of that from my pledge class last year, it makes you feel so honored that your pledge sisters think that about you!

Congrats to everyone that have just been initiation.I absolutley LOVE initiation and all that it is about.We just had initiation for our girls and it was awesome.They were all soo excited.
I have been through soooo many but it never gets old, I always get all emotional about it,b/c of the reaction that the girls have on their faces when they go through..It reminds me of my first time.I AM SO OLD :( but still proud to be a Chi-O :D .
