I'm going to have to go with picking, unless the blowing is done "farmer-style" and on (or near) you.

Blowing. Especially at the table. I've always been afraid that little snot droplets can fly in the air and land on my food.

Totally blowing, mostly for the same reason as Dio...Don't snot on me!!!!!

Picking. Don't go digging for gold. Use a kleenex and blow.

Picking. EWWWW.

I'd say neither...you gotta do whatcha gotta do. Everyone does both at sometime. I suppose some times are more appropriate then others though.

I say if you do both in private and wash your hands afterward, it's really not a big deal.

Picking, unless they do the wino snap with their snot, that is SO GROSS. I am totally against public boogers as someone who had my dorm room before me WIPED THEM ON THE HEADBOARD AND THE DESK.

I am NOT a fan of hocking loogies NASTAY.

Picking is worse. Any time I see someone picking their nose in public, I just have to laugh at them.
I have a nose-blowing phobia, though. I will not blow my nose in front of people EVER. Like some people have the public-bathroom phobia, I have the public nose-blowing phobia.

In private, everyone does both. As already mentioned, just wash up.

Oh gawd I'm going to be sick...but I vote for picking. And I agree about loogies. I've got a story but it's too disgusting for me to tell right now. :eek:

id say that snot rockets are pretty gross. i mean at least with picking there isnt much room for error. its not like blowing where it could hang on and swing around or anything. unless... naaww i wont go there.

I knew this girl in high school who was very fit and ran cross country and played soccor...she used to blow snot rockets while running. She's like, well if my nose is gonna run and I end up choking on it, I'd rather blow a snot rocket. I guess whatever works!

Personally I think it's grosser to pick the nose in public than to blow it. But like others, I dislike blowing my nose infront of a lot of people. Especially in class!

picking, which reminds me of the other day when I was passing by a cafe and looked right at a guy who had his finger up his nose.
