Gentlemen, a short question for you:

If all other things are equal, would you prefer that a woman you are about to have sex with is a virgin? Or would you prefer that she not be? Explain your choice.

PREFER? A virgin. ITs kind of exotic, a dying a species. . . lol.

absolutuscchick 01-10-2004 03:10 AM

what an interesting thread KillarneyRose!! I'm interested to see what the guys say!!

wrigley 01-10-2004 03:13 AM

Lol. I just posted in that thread how I was glad that it's no longer such a stigma for a woman who isn't a virgin on her wedding night. The answers should be interesting.

There are right now girls and the right girls. There are girls you would like to show your parents. There are girls you think are cute, some that are elegant, and some that are downright dirty and raunchy. The girls i've dated have mostly been blonde and been sweet and cute. The woman (not girl) I marry will most likely have darker hair, stronger personality, and be sophisticated. The whole sex number thing differs depending on what type of person i am looking for.

I'm sorry Rudy, I'm taken :( ;)

Are all you guys still asleep? Or waiting for your friday night hook-ups to leave? lol I thought this would have more response by now.

not a virgin...

because i'm not. i wouldn't want to answer the question of how many i've had. wouldn't want to start the marriage off lying.

Virginity is something that needs to be cured. With today's advancement in medical technology, its not difficult at all. Curing an ailment doesn't fit in the same scenario as hot and steamy sex. I'd rather my woman be healthy before we have sex.

James 01-10-2004 01:57 PM

That it is so true. Is like, how long has that cough (virginity) been bothering you? Well we can fix that right now. I mean its not a harmful aflliction per se . . but like a runny nose, what fun is it?

Exactly. Its like getting a shot with a needle. It only hurts for a second, and just one prick, and your done.

And how exactly do you know this?

I think men don't want their "manhood" equated with a thin, little needle. ;)

I'm just trying to make it sound unthreatening to any GCers who may have this "ailment."

I doubt very much that the reason people have this so-called "ailment" has ANYTHING to do with the act being "threatening," but more to do with waiting for the right person/marriage!

Ew, I had sex with a virgin once and it was bad. I know that you are asking for the male perspective here, but I would like to hear the ladies chime in as well.

absolutuscchick 01-10-2004 03:49 PM

Definitely someone who is NOT a virgin. He needs to have some idea what is going on please.....yes I am all about the double standard...for some reason I think that its cool for a girl to be a virgin but if a guy is a virgin there is definitely something wrong...does anyone else agree with me or am I just mean??

And how would you know that it only hurts for a second??? Have you ever been pricked by this particular needle?

I think it depends on the person as to how much it hurts or not....some people feel no pain when they lose their virginity, and others feel more pain than they've ever felt in their lives.

I personally don't think there's anything wrong with a guy who's still a virgin, because they might not have found anyone that they were interested in enough to have sex with (I know, that's probably a slim to none chance of that, but I digress...), but at the same time when I personally feel that it's "time" to alleviate my ailment, I'd probably prefer to be with someone who's not a virgin, just because two fumbling virgins probably would not make for an entertaining and enjoyable time, and then what would be the point of having done it in the first place?

I'm flexable either way. As long as that woman can make it worth the time and energy and meet me halfway in creating a enjoyable atmosphere for both of us when we get together, I'm happy.
