Where Could I get greek letters for my webpage?
 

try this
 

try symbol font- it works for like AIM and microsoft word- but you hasve to find the letters in capitals..... can you try copy and pasting them from another website (even from signitures or soemthng- like taking a PHI from someones and a TAU from another or wahtever until you get your letters) try playing around with that- otherwise try a font search for greek letters- you can download fonts to your computer- also like on my website you can download fonts (i use tripod and they are called webgems that you can add) directly through the site....? good luck

The best thing would be to make, or have someone make for you, a banner or image file with your letters. Fonts used on websites are read according to the fonts installed on the viewers' computer. While almost all computers have the Symbol font installed, any fun Greek-letter fonts you find most likely won't be able to be seen by everyone--they'll show up as a default font. But images are seen usually almost exactly as they are created.

In the symbol font her letters should be DZX. Some of them are a little harder to guess -- phi, for example, is F, and chi is C.

I thought they were Delta Zeta Xi not Delta Zeta Chi. Question though, Does your particular chapter pronounce it "Dee Zee" or "Dee Zeye"

What program do you use to make those? They're awesome! I am in charge of my chapters website and would love to add something like that to it.

I used PhotoShop 7.0! I could make more in different colors and stuff...but I just wanted to match the color on her main page.

I thought the sorority was Delta Xi Chi since the user name is HollisterDXiChi, but I guess I am confused.

I just looked in her profile to get the web site and took the name that they had on the web site and made banners...I hope that's the right one! ;)

On a related note: I'm PR Rep for my sorority, and our school has a new policy that all clubs must have a website that needs to be constantly regulated otherwise we face "disciplinary action." This is great and all seeing as how I have absolutely no clue how to make a website and it's my responsibility to do this. Does anyone know anything about making a website? Please I need lots of insane amounts of help!

I personally like #3 the best, those are all amazing though!

The blue we use is color code #000064

A couple quotes we use:

" The Standard for Brotherhood"
"One man is no man"

and our college is Kent State University.

I'm making them in a seperate program. It's a program called Photoshop. You can alter pictures with it and make graphic design type things. My boyfriend gave me a crash course in it when I started to get into web pages a few years ago.

Here are Phi Sigma Sigma's (I got the request in a PM)...they were a little harder to do since the banner goes in a rather small and skinny place. I'm going to do ADPi's next...but I might not finish until tomorrow...

I do animated signatures for another message board, sometimes I wish that could be my full-time job!

Carolyn here are some for you...the two banners should lay right ontop of your pages back ground image well...and the last one could be printed on Rush material...it should print pretty cleanly.

I'm having a blast doing it! I think I might try to make one for each PHC, NPHC, and IFC Fraternity. They won't be specific to any chapter or school, but I think it'd be a neat exercise and it'd like me learn a lot about each of the GLO's...

This would all happen when I have nothing to do over a school break or something...
