Reality Shows
 

I don't know if this has been posted before, and I'm sure it has, but what reality show would you go on if you had the chance? This includes the funky makeover shows on TLC.

either the real world, or what not to wear on TLC ($5K shopping spree? hell yeah)

What Not to Wear would be fun...except I'm afraid of what those mean people would say about my closet! I don't think I dress all that badly, but they seem to have issues with everything!
I'd like to do some show about getting some part of my house redecorated. Either by myself, or with some other room, like in Trading Spaces. I just want the free decorating advice and free decorating stuff!!!
I would NOT do Real World, Road Rules, Big Brother, or any other show where they film you for a long time...I think it would make me continually paranoid, wondering what I said that the editors were going to take and turn into something terrible.

I'm more worried about the hair guy giving me a bad hairstyle than the mean people telling me that my clothes are awful.

In my younger days, I would have loved to be on The Real World. But old-school Real World style, where you had to find your own job and reason for being in that city. None of this everyone works together stuff. I've aged out of that demographic though...maybe if they had a Real World for people in their late 20s-30s.

As for what now, I think Trading Spaces would be cool. But I think I'd really have a blast on The Amazing Race. You get to travel all over the world and do fun things...how cool would that be?

Even though I watch almost every reality show that comes on TV, I would absolutely love to go on the Amazing Race....the chance to travel would be wonderful, especially if I was able to do it with one of my sorority sisters or my mom. However, I'd be so fearful of being the first team eliminated, and I'd never apply for the show :o

Along these lines, I think it would be awesome to be on The Mole, but I don't know if it'll ever come back to the "regular" show or if it'll be continuously Celebrity editions from now on, and I wouldn't be able to handle the mind games that would be going on nonstop!

I think the Amazing Race is awesome, and in theory I'd love to be on it, but the fact is I'm too much of a scaredy-cat to do most of the stunts they have to do. Seriously, I'm afraid to get on an airplane, that's how much of a wuss I am.

But other than that, I think the Mole.

I'd do "While You Were Out" and "What Not To Wear". I'd love for someone to submit me for those two because:

a) on While You Were Out the designers are a little more down to earth

b) on What Not To Wear I'd get a free $5000 shopping spree :)

Something that would give me a makeover (not extreme though) or my room a makeover.

I'd love to be on The Real World just because it's 1 of my favorite shows, was going to go to an open casting call but I decided not to go because I'd have to travel a ways and I figured what are the chances I'd get picked? even though everyone's always like I could totally see you on The Real World and even adults are like you look like you should be on MTV.... But I'd want to do Road Rules just because you get to do all those cool challenges. I'd also like to be on Amazing Race though I have no sense of direction whatsoever... I'd love to be on Survivor just for that cool experience.

They told me possible locations, but they didn't tell me where exactly...and even if they did, I don't know if I'm allowed to say. I couldn't even tell my audition process to most people, only close friends and relatives. They've contacted the chosen 7 that they've made it about a week and a half ago.

I don't know if I want to try out for the Real World again, it was really tough.

I think it would be fun to be on the real world.

Bachlorette (?sp)..heck yeah...making out with 25 guys..c'mon now!

I'd either do Real World or Big Brother.

(1) Real World just to be in a different city.

(2) Big Brother for the $500,000 the winner gets.

What not to wear would be fun.

Though I really do think I would have a hard time shopping in New York. I'm used to the Midwest, where I'd probably never pay more than $30 for a shirt. When they show these outfits at the end, it's always "Here's Suzy in her $150 shirt, $400 pants, and $200 shoes." :eek: That's two month's mortgage for me... I don't think I could wrap my mind around that!

Believe me, when a $750 outfit is still LESS than your THIRD of the rent, your perspective changes. :) I never thought I'd spend what I do on clothes now that I live in Manhattan.

Because I really don't like reality shows like Average Joe Millionaire, I think if there was a show for me, it would be Amazing Race.

I am all with the Amazing Race ladies! That is the BEST reality show on TV and I would love the oppotunity to be on it!

Otherwise, I'm not sure... What Not to Wear, maybe.

word. I'm not that much older than these people, but I swear the people on the RW these days act like such idiot kids sometimes. I get really frustrated. The whole thing makes me feel like I'm middle aged -- and I'm only 25!

I saw a new reality show on A&E called "House of Dreams" that looks like it would be cool to be on. 16 people get together to build a house from scratch, eliminate people along the way, and the winner gets to keep it. A free house in Florida? Yeah, I could handle that. Did anyone else see it?

Yep, I saw it. Looks pretty good. I certainly wouldn't mind winning a house!

I would also consider going on The Apprentice. It would be fun to work with Donald Trump. He doesn't intimidate me!

Without a moment's hesitation, I would say "The Amazing Race".

No it would rock. I just watched it last night, and the house is looking sweet. I am excited about this show, I stil want Tony to win..

My big fat onoxious fiancee, just to see how good of an actor I really could be :) .
