Okay, it starts TONIGHT!!!! Will anyone else be there watching with me? I was addicted to the first one and I can't wait to see this one! I was on the website for the new one and it looks like on the bio's that a lot of the guys this time are REALLY short(like 5 ft 2). CANNOT WAIT!!

That was the worst show I have ever watched! I watched the first one...and it was bad but not this bad! No one is average on this show! I know she will pick one of the good looking guys! I dont even know if I will watch this one...it is terrible!

From the previews it makes it seem like the "hot" guys act like real jerks. Also there are a lot more of them this time!

I agree--there were very few AVERAGE guys this time--more like a lot of FREAKY weird guys(the Elvis/Grease guy??!!). But I still think it will be entertaining to watch. I think Larissa(the girl) has a chance of being a huge witch this time, which will be fun to see.
Does anyone know what the Miss Missouri connection is?? Both Melana and Larisss are former Miss Missouri's

I saw it and I thought it was somewhat interesting. I'm rooting for the guy from Cleveland: Fredo.

When I first saw the previews for this show, there was one scene in it that reminded me of a scene from Lord of the Rings. Its the one where the geeky, long-haired, skinny guy (David) climbs up a rock and kisses her.

I wonder if any single girls have called that number they show at the end of each episode. The one where it has pictures of the guys that have been booted off and the words "now available, call 1-800......" attached.

I never noticed the phone number! That is too funny.

One thing I have noticed in the previews for this show is that the girl seems to be kissing a lot more guys than the last girl did.

OK- I just saw her on Ellen's talk show. She seemed a lot nicer than she did in the 1st episode. She said she did choose someone and he exceeded her expectations. Ellen asked her if she'd seen him naked (Ellen is so funny) and she said something like, "I am trying to think if I'd want to."

Boy oh boy, if you don't KNOW then it's NO!!!!!

The newer one is much funnier than the first one. Just watching her complain to the producers was comedy enough. And she did dump "the virgin", and "elvis" looking guy I think.

David's serenade frightened me. I'm seriously going to have nightmares of Carrottop Jr.

Ok, so i watched last night's episode. How can they bring in a different set of guys to off-set everything. I just thought it was unfair to the original guys. It seems to me that the new guys are there to see if they can win the girl, but for the wrong reasons.

The new guys looked like they just got done playing with each other on the boat and rubbing tan lotions all over each other. Their attitude towards other people just plain sucked. You can look good, but you don't have to rub it in and be all conceited about it.

My money is on one of the average joes in the end. One, I don't think they would have done a part 2 if the first season ended with the girl picking an average joe. Thats just my guess, because on joe millionnaire they had to do a season 2 because the first one didn't turn out the way it was suppose to. Who knows........

I wonder if they are going to do a Plain Jane, where the good looking guys picks from average janes, lol.

I soooo agree that all the new hot guys seemed like cocky jerks!! So not fans of any of them right now!
And did anyone hear that they are doing the next one as "ADAM RETURNS!!-Average Joe 3!!" and they are going to have girls competing for Adam from the first one. I am sooooo excited about that!!

But the whole idea behind both seasons of Average Joe is a hot woman (beauty pageant winners) choosing from a pool of Average Joes. I don't see how Adam would compare. Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong guy, but isn't Adam the closet millionaire?

Larissa is GORGEOUS! She seems to be really genuine about everything. When the season started, I thought right away that she was going to pick one of the good looking guys at the end because of her first reactions. But, as of last night and the next episode, I think she will pick one of the average joes. The hot blonde girl they bring in next week will probably show the new guys hitting on her. I bet she is there as a decoy to catch those who are flirting.

I'm glad Theo's gone, troublemaker. I was tearing up when Larissa said goodbye to David Daskall.

Has anyone been watching this? I am soooo rooting for Brian Worth to win Larissa's heart! Dontcha just love his accent?
In the teaser for the big finale next Monday, it was hinted that Larissa has some monstrous secret she is going to reveal -- wonder what it is? Was she married before or she has a kid or what? I am dying to know! This has practically been my fave show all season! Anyone else hooked like me?

I've been watching on and off. The guy she cut last night- the one from Arizona I think- he's really hot, but he had zero personality... maybe he was just shy with the cameras around. I liked how she compared all 3 to the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Lion. I don't know who I'm rooting for, haven't seen much of that blonde guy so I can't make a judgement yet.

Predictions for next week??

I sooo do not want her to choose Brian. I just, no. He gets on my nerves! At the same time, though, the other guy isn't a good catch either. He hasn't been around long enough to figure him out. Larissa's elimination strategy obviously didn't work.

What's the secret?! She can't have a kid because she was Miss Whatever-State, can't be married because of that too. Maybe she has an illness or something. Hmmm. Can't wait to see!

I usually don't like reality shows like this, where people are supposed to find "love" by breaking other people's hearts. But I got hooked on the first AJ and I'm even more hooked on this one (doesn't hurt that it's on right after my husband, Josh Duhamel, runs around Vegas... hehe).

I thought Larissa was going to be even more shallow than I thought Melana was, but I really like Larissa. I want her to pick Brian, mainly because he really is a sweet guy with a lot to offer her, and he really truly cares. Gil is cute, but he doesn't seem to have much of a personality and I don't think he'd let Larissa get as close to him as she'd like. I liked the Arizona guy that she booted, but I think if she would have picked him, it would be hypocritical of her earlier comments about a relationship that moved "way way too fast" in her opinion. They were just a physical thing, it never would have worked out.

Anyone else think that Fredo was a baby about when he saw her making out with another guy? Hi, he was going to have to watch it on TV sometime anyway, whether he got chosen or not.

Yeh, Fredo's reaction was sorta babyish but I think it is impressive that he stuck to his guns and left since it really did seem to bother him - I liked him from the start. I also like Brian alot...the only hunky guy I liked was one she kicked off a while ago -- Theo... the rest were all looks and not much else -- Gill is cute but what's up with his cautiousness?

Whoever posted earlier that Larissa was on Ellen show and said she did pick someone and he exceeded her expectations makes me wonder -- did she pick Gil because of his looks and she wasn't sure of his personality and therefore he exceeded her expectations when he got picked because a persoanlity finally showed up? ....OR... did she pick Brian and he exceeded her expectations because he was billed as so average at the start of the show?
ACK...I swore that if another hunk is picked I would No Longer watch any further Average Joes...I was FURIOUS that Melana (or whatever her name was from AJ#1) picked the hunky waiter over Adam - it was looks over substance - ack! I mean really -- who wants a waiter over a miliionaire - stupid shallow broad!:rolleyes:

Memo to Fredo: You're on a reality show, buddy. Of course the chick is going to make out (heavily) with other guys, ESPECIALLY the hot ones. Actually, i think it's in her contract. So go cry me a MFing river, buddy.

If she picked the millionnaire, wouldn't that make her a gold digger? If she picked a good looking guy over an average guy, that would make her seem shallow right? I guess she can't win either way...

I am thinking the secret is maybe she was ENGAGED before but didn't go through with it. She did date Fabio for awhile, so maybe she was engage to him? I don't think she has a kid--that would be a long time she has left him/her to do this show.....

About the only thing that would shock me would be if she said she was a post-op.

Okay, now ladies, I honestly like Fabio!!! Or at least I like his looks -- have no idea about his personality...but it seems like he is able to laugh at himself so I count that as a plus.

I want her to choose Brian (heck once he changed his hair style and dressed up, he did not look half bad!) and there is a part of me that thinks she will, BUT sadly I think I will be disappointed and she'll choose cute but BORING, NO PERSONALITY Gil....:( :rolleyes:
