I haven't heard that song yet but I have heard Kelis' album and I think its pretty good. I know I am ready for Kanye West's album to drop because I love that song Through the Wire.

I heard that Amel Larrieux is due to drop her sophmore album sometime soon. Her first CD was great..

Waiting on Amerie's Sophomore effort sometime this Spring!

Well, now! I se there are some more good CD's dropping soon. I wish that people wouldn't push back their release dates though--I'm expecting a CD at a certain time and then they disappoint me :(...But U'm REALLLLLLLL excited about that Jill Scott (LOL @ CT4's singing from that interlude) and Amel Larrieux...And I still want that Kanye West... :)

HC Best Buy was sold out of Amel's CD? :(

I got the next to the last copy. Best Buy had it for $8.99. It is a great follow-up to her first CD..

CeeLo's new CD will be out on March 2.

Ladies, I heard a... um.... sneak preview, yeah, that's it, of Kanye's album in entirety. SO HOT. Particularly "Breathe In, Breathe Out". Even though I have the whole thing, I can't wait till it comes out so I can buy it.

I finally got it, but I couldn't get the BestBuy price. Anyway, you're right, it is a great follow-up. I'm diggin' it! My favorite tracks are 1, 6, & 11. :cool:

I am still playing Kelis's CD especially Sugar Honey Iced Tea and I also like Amel Larrieux's new one.

I know this forum was for new releases but my co-worker let me listen to Calvin Richardson's CD titled 2:35PM.. man I played that album all day today. It is a good CD..clearly slept on b/c b4 my coworker i didn't know anyone who had it...or even who the guy was..:)

I heard that it will be released sometime in March.

Ok, I love Amel's CD. It's on constant rotation in the car. #6 (We Can Be New) is definitely my favorite. I LOVE that song!!!!

I also picked up Anthony Hamilton since y'all was talkin' about it in here. I've only listened to it once, but I liked what I heard.

I need to pick up Lucy Pearl Live (or whatever the name of it is).

Smooth R&B singer Donell Jones, who made headlines in 2000 when he was arrested for his alleged involvement in a car-jacking attack against limousine driver Travis Ingram :eek: (Was I the only one who did not know about this) after a concert in Queens in 1999, releases a new album, his first since 2002's Life Goes On. Jones has worked with some of the best names in the biz, including the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Madonna, for whom he arranged vocals on her 1994 Bedtime Stories album, and his new spin features the usual creative couplings. The singer, who credits music for saving him from, uh, a life of crime, spent part of 2003 on the road opening for Alicia Keys and appears on M.A.D.E., the latest album from Memphis Bleek, which was released in December.

Am I the only one who just noticed that he mentions Delta in Through the Wire? I like how on School Spirit, he mentions all the greeks. And on another cut, he mentions them NUPES! Everyone go get this album.

I finally took the time to go get the CD today...I love it. I hope she does a show in the area.

Has anyone heard that new Janet Jackson song that is being played as the first release from the new CD due out.......well I was not feeling it at all. Seeing as though she hasn't released anything in a minute, she needed to have come out with something a bit more funky than that mess they are playing on the radio.

I'm really feeling Usher's "Yeah". :D

Tamia Returns With 'More'




R&B artist Tamia will release her next album, "More," April 6 via Elektra. The album has been retitled from "Still," which was originally scheduled for release in August 2003. It's the follow-up to 2000's "A Nu Day," which has sold 668,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Guests on "More" include Fabolous on "Into You," Gerald Levert on "(They Long To Be) Close to You" and Mario Winans on "Mr. Cool." A host of heavyweight producers also lent a hand, including Jermaine Dupri, 7 Aurelius, Track Masters and Warryn Campbell. R. Kelly produced the single "Questions," which debuted last week at No. 24 on Billboard's Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart. A video for the track was recently shot by Darren Grant (Jewel, Craig David).

"I don't want to be on the trend of 'What's the hottest thing now?'" Tamia told Billboard last summer. "I want to have a career like Luther Vandross, where 10 years from now people can hear one of my songs and remember exactly what they were doing and who they were seeing when they first heard it."

As previously reported, the artist will join labelmate Missy Elliott, Beyoncé and Alicia Keys on the Verizon Triple Threat tour, which kicks off March 12 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and wraps April 18 in Oakland, Calif.
