Another season is coming soon. Yup Real world San Diego. I'm acutally looking forward to this one. Paris cast did not impress me much. I know alot of GCers are form So-Cal, anyone there to witness the filming??

Like I said, I saw a clip in the previews in front of our Alpha Phi house. Plus my bro works at the Pita Pit and that one Kappa girl came into the place a lot.

Spoiler sites I've seen say that there was a party/get together at the house where a woman (not in the cast) was found in the bathroom the following morning.

Jamie (the KKG from UCR) was the one who found the girl (who was from Missouri), and tests showed that she was a victim of sexual assault. The victim said that her attacker was not part of the cast, though.

I am excited about the new season.

Paris was kind of a disappointment.

yeah, Paris was not all that great but really i'm getting a little tired of Real World. I do love those challenges though. Can't wait to see The Inferno! Mad drama and hook ups supposedly.

I'm not that excited about San Diego. It seems like it's going to be just like the Las Vegas season. I'll watch the first episode, though. But I can't wait to see the Inferno. The challenges always have the good drama.

Ugh...Veronica is back on the challenge again. It's like she has made her career out of it. I'm so sick of seeing her on EVERY single challenge.

what is the inferno challenge?

The Inferno Challenge is the one that is premiering sometime in late Jan/early Feb. (but i want to say that it's in jan.).

It's right after the Gaunlet challenge.

There are a lot of the same faces on this one AGAIN but least we get to see sexy David from the Seattle cast. He's hot!!

okay, usually i get really excited for the challenge shows..but judging from the inferno's cast, i am definately not looking forward to it. The real world cast consists of paris, mike, coral and trishelle and like 2 other people. Road Rules cast is veronica and a bunch of people from the south pacific which i didn't watch. Seriously - Mike, Coral, Veronica..move on already. These things were more fun to watch when they were random people that you hadn't seen or heard from in years. They really need to take a break from them until they can get like, allison or shelley (rr season 1) or tami, judd and pam to do it.

i actually saw randy and robin at a blink 182 concert downtown...it was at a small club, so the 2 people standing together with a camera was obvious...lol.
they also partied at state a few times, and you see brad acting all tuff in one of the comericals in the parking lot of los ponchos (right next to alpha phi). i knew people that partied with them that night and they said it was insane...i even heard something about a fight in greek circle.
the rape thing is real....it was a friend of one of our pledges, and he was also friends with all the cast members and partied with them all the time. he was telling me that the next day the whole cast was at his place, and he even got a call from the producers telling him not to talk to the media....
i am very interested to watch this season....it will be a trip since i will know all the places they are at!

I heard that Robin girl got arrested during the taping for punching some girl at a nightclub. They supposedly have her arraignment on tape also.

Wasn't it a Marine that she punched? I remember reading something about it on The Smoking Gun.

i hung out with Jah from the real world san diego a bunch while they were here, he came by our house for parties a lot, hey got me on camera to but i refused to sign a waiver

we partied with him that night and he ended up going to detox with to of our boys for getting in a fight with some random dudes, it was pretty hilarious, that brad guy is a douche

Cameran reminds me of 99% of the girls that lived in my freshman dorm last year- and that is not a good thing.

I watched, but I still haven't decided if I'm going to like this season or not. Jamie and Frankie seem pretty cool, but I think Robin and Cameran are going to be drama....

I think Jamie and Robin are cool so far... was kinda disappointed by the premiere though.

well the sd real world started out the right way....PARTY, PARTY, PARTY...lol. yeah, it was trippy seeing them show places where i hang out or have been....i cant wait to see what else this season has in store

Cameran kinda reminds me of Trischelle. If she is anything like her, this should be an interesting season.

This season has already started out better than Paris. Actually any season in the US is better than Paris.

My theory is that Veronica can't get a job, because she's whiny slut, so she has to do all the challanges she can since it provides room and board. Just a theory.;)

I like Cameron, she seems to be nice. Why do they all drink so much?

Duh, MTV. Thats all they are going to show is the partying, for once i would like to see other things, like all the bloopers you see in the reunion specials. Those always have me cracking up

What is the disease that Frankie has? My roomie and I were talking and missed it.

Cystic Fibrosis. A very, very deadly lung/mucous membrane disease. I was really surprised that she was smoking. Most people with CF don't live past her age. And, if they are still alive, they're either really ill or have already had a lung transplant. She should consider herself lucky; I was just shocked she was ruining that by smoking.

yeah, i was shocked when she said that and then was smoking..my friend's sister (who i also knew) passed away a few years ago from the disease..i think she was 20 or 21 when she died..

sigh...same stuff different day.

Cameran is from my hometown! She went to one of our high school rivals when in high school! She went to TL Hanna High School (the school featured in the movie Radio) and I went to high school at Wren High School (the school where Shannon Faulkner graduated from and her mom teaches at). I guess my area is where everything is happening! lol. didn't realize it when I lived there!

I'm so boring compared to these people it makes me want to watch the drama. lol! :)

A group of us were watching the first episode and it was outta control! I just couldn't believe some of the stuff that went on and it just gets crazier from the previews!

I truly believe that none of the stuff these people do on reality TV shows are real. I think they just play it up for the cameras. I'd bet that just like actors on a sitcom, many of the Real World cast members are completely different people in person. We all wonder how some of these RW people can be so crazy, out of control, and liberated and do stuff that we would never in our right minds do. I'm sure they're not normally like that. They just want the attention from the viewers who will watch it in a few months and the maybe even the possiblity of getting a movie deal out of it (or a playboy spread).

Not only that, but think of some of the stuff that you do over 5 months. Looking back over the past 5 months I've done stupid things, drunk and sober. That gets edited down to 11 hours worth of tape, not to mention the interviews and confessionals and things they have that don't even show anything that's going on in the house. It can't be too hard to make drama with what they have.
