I always think that something is wrong with me b/c most songs everyone love, I hate or it gets on my nerves. What are your?


"Milkshake" (Kelis....I hate this song, especially after I found out what it was talking about!!)

"Right Thurrr" (Chingy....it annoys me!)

"Woman's Worth" (Alicia Keys...i just wasn't feeling it!)

I hate that song by Kem that everyone is raving over

On another note...what is Milkshake about? I like the beat, but don't want to sound weird singing it at work.

LOL on the Milkshake song. When I heard the words "warm it up". I was like who wants warm Milk Shake. That's when I realized this song is not about milkshake.

Good golly. I saw her on a show on BET and I didn't get that impression. I guess the folks that nominate people for Grammys didn't know that either.

Speaking of Ms. Keys...everytime I hear Fallin' I CRINGE!!!

Change Clothes by Jay-Z featuring Pharrell -- they are playing the song over and over again on several Atlanta stations and I can't seem to escape it. I went to dinner last weekend, and it was playing softly in the background (and it wasn't a bar or nightclub).

Through The Wire by Kayne West. I just saw the video again. I don't like the video (too graphic) and I don't like the fact that Chaka Khan sounds like one of the members of Alvin and the Chipmunks. I'm unimpressed.

almost eveything by Outkast: I know that people love them but I really don't think that they are talented and their songs are borderline incoherent

Anything by Lil Jon & the Ying Yang Twins: There is only so much screaming on beat that I can deal with

I'm sick of Baby Boy and Change Clothes

And Holidae Inn by Chingy annoys me too (even though I sing with it when it comes on)

I also don't like "Toi Toi Toi Tang" or however that song goes by R. Kelly, and now they have a remix for it which is even worse




And I can't stand that new one by them that goes "Shake it like a salt shaker"



......and though I LOVE IT RIGHT NOW......if they keep up on the overkill of Alicia Key's "You don't know my name," I'll be adding it to this list.

Anything with 50Cent.....I am sick and tired of hearing his voice.

I'm probably one of the few people who never really liked anything Alicia Keys has ever made. Its something about her voice that just irritates the mess out of me.

I hate Avant as well, everything from him sounds alike, and they are playing the mess out of his new single!:mad: :rolleyes:

I should support him because he's from Cleveland, so I hear, fellow Ohioan, but...
The good thing about him is that I met him in person, and he's really nice, but corny. Nice body...sounds just like his cd's.
Definitely not a studio voice. I just wish he would get some new sounding music!

I'm a little ghetto, so I LOVE outkast and ying yang twins and lil jon, anything that is "crunk", I'm on it.

I can't stand Jay-Z anymore...he's needs to retire.

Everything else that was mentioned, I pretty much like;)

What The Hook Gon' Be? by Murphy Lee -- there is something about the song that makes me want to turn it off right when it comes on. I am not sure what, but there is something about it that I do not like and it takes a lot for me to want to change the channel on the radio for just one song.

I can't stand Avant either. I think the only song of his that I liked was "Separated" with Kelly Rowland.

You and me both. I don't know what it is but I haven't liked a song that he made since then. What really annoys me is that he tries to have a whole "sexy" vibe going and he is not sexy at all. He looks like a small woodland creature but walks around like he is finer than Tyson Beckford.

The "woodland creature" had me CFTU because it is so TRUE!!! I tried to watch the video for "Read Your Mind" but it looked like something was wroung with his eye. Like he was trying just TOO hard.

YES OMG I can't stand Avant! I forgot to add him before.

I don't know if anyone else has heard the song " Suga, Suga" but they play it out here, and I can't get it out of my head.

They play the Suga song here too. "Suga, Suga how'd you get so fly'.:rolleyes: It drives me crazy!!! Also there is a song by a man named Iman. One of the lines is "f&*^ you ho, I don't want you back." I was like WTF??

I agree. 50 is OK, but I think that the radio and T.V. over played him so now when I hear him I thinking Not again!

Can you say that again??? They call themselves the "Kings of Krunk" and that is true...they are WAY TOO "KRUNK" for me.

Goodness some of these songs you hate I love..is it me?

Okay I agree the Milkshake song is horrible and the other one Nooky. I don't like those songs but the others Baby Boy (there are two versions and I like the 2nd one "Imagine us dancing real close in a dark..."), Through the Wire, etc.

I have a question..I discussed this with a friend of mine..I like some of the B2K songs but do you guys think they are getting out of hand..that one song Bada Bing..I mean come on think of the people that these songs attract (young girls) I don't want my 8 year old cousin going to anyone's room and bada binging anything..maybe its b/c B2K is getting older (what are they 17 now)

See the thing with B2K is that we, the listening audience, was used to their "Puppy Love" approach in their songs. It is kinda hard for prople to "Grow Up" in Hollywood (not saying that to grow up means to sing lewd lyrics), I know for a fact watching "That's So Raven" was weird for me at first because I was use to her being "Olivia" and about 4 years old. Just like Bow Wow had a song that said "It's really really nice to meet ya Ma"....they are just getting older. But I do understand where you are coming from.

Yes..Rain on me..honestly anything by Ashanti..I got the 1st CD burned and haven't really listened to much off of it..I heard her Christmas CD was a mess..except for the pictures..

I don't like plenty of songs that are in heavy rotation now, but I absolutely, positively HATE that dayum song with Jamie Foxx singing the hook. The one talking about Marvin Gaye, a little Anita, some something.... Ready For the World, etc.... That song drives me up a wall. Me and my girls went out last Sunday and when that song came on, you would have thought it was the second coming of you-know-who! :rolleyes: The people in the club were singing like there was no tomorrow and they new all the words! We were amazed. Just raggedy....

The song is called "Slow Jamz" and it's Twista and Kanye West. I can't stand the song either. And the video is even worse. Not even Kanye can save the song for me.

How could I forget the dreaded Slow Jams song. It comes on at least twice an hour. I hate it!!!

That "Slow Jams" song with Twista, Jamie Foxx and Kanye West (sorry babydaddy) in the video. I HAAATE that song.
