How many movie titles do you own?
 

I just realized that . . I believe I own near 300 titles on VHS and DVD. Thats not counting TV shows . . you know like a season of Buffy.

I think my husband buys every movie he can find. Our DVD collection has over 400 movies. My 5 year old son's collection consists of about 30 DVDs. It is insane!!!

I honestly couldn't tell you on video. We may have close to 150 videos around here. Most of those are either children's titles, sports related, and music related. Take all of those out and maybe 10 actual VHS movies?

Somewhere around here I've got about 6-8 hours of the Band Aid concert on video. I've got to get that transferred to DVD before the tape dies.

I have about 15 DVDs right now, I think... Hopefully after this Christmas I will have some lovely new ones, like the first season of ER and the extended edition of the Two Towers (my parents decided to torture me by telling me it was going to be a Christmas present so I shouldn't buy it -- which meant that I still don't have it to watch it!!! GRRR!!!)

388 DVD's and VHS movies...that's not including the ones that are currently under the Christmas tree, and it's not taking into count movies that have more than one tape to them :)

I also haven't added in the tapes of TV shows I have, or the taped movies (off of HBO and such) :D....do you think my family enjoys watching movies or something like that? :cool:

I'm more of a CD whore. I only own like 15 VHS/DVD titles. Predominantly VHS, too. I have I think 2 DVDs--Dirty Dancing and a Smashing Pumpkins video collection.

That looks like another thread topic to me....and I could probably give you a run for your money :D

about 60-70..but that includes movies i taped off of hbo and whatnot..

31 DVDs plus the Monty Python Boxed Set

Zero. I never buy movies because I don't enjoy watching the same movie more than once.

Around 40-50 DVDs. I have all the James Bond movies on DVD, most of the rest are action movies.

I have, like, 8 on VHS and about 6 on DVD...that's my extensive library. :p

Probably about 20 or 30, plus the Monty Python box set (15 discs, I think), Simpsons seasons 1, 2 and 3, and the first Family Guy box set

When FI and I combine our collections...He got the Upright Citizens Brigade box set for Christmas (from me, I rock), and has more anime sets than I care to know about.

That's just DVD. I lost track of how much I have on VHS. Lots of stuff taped off TV.

I have about 50 movies on DVD and about 15 on VHS.

I should start collecting though.

With myself and my husband combined, DVD collection is probably about 150, including TV series (Farscape, Simpsons, Family Guy and SATC). My VHS collection in college was legendary; I was basically the video store for our chapter (which kind of sucked because I had a lot of movies go "missing.") I'd say I have over 100 there, too. I don't think my husband can make a trip to Target or Best Buy without purchasing a DVD, CD or video game.

Mine either. Luckily he's not too into CD's, but he's got a serious movie-buying addiction!
