Your 2004 New Years Resolution
Starting January 1st I will be exercising more. This seems to be my new years resolution every year, but I don't stick to the plan. It usually ends one week later. This years is the year :D
|
In New Years past I've vowed to exercise more, to watch what I eat, to be more organized with my time, and to quit smoking.
I've broken each of those resolutions before February came around. So, this year's resolution will be the one I've made and kept for the past 3 years: To wake up happy every morning. You can have the shi**iest of shi**y days, but at least you can look back and say "Hey, at least I woke up happy this morning." |
Hmmm...I stopped making new years resolutions!!
|
apparently some people's resolution needs to be to stop hijacking threads ;)
|
My New Year's resolution is to get permission for Phi Psi to recolonize at a nearby school.
|
I'll give five bucks to the first moderator to get rid of the hijack posts.
Seriously guys, in the words of ktsnake, "stop abusing the threads". |

|
Mine are to stop talking about writing my screenplay and to just do it... exercise more (people think I exercise, but little do they know I'm really lazy)....
|
Cyber-Courtship folks: I gave your own thread where you can court in private :)

My New Year's Resolution is to learn how to take a joke on Greekchat.
Oh no wait, that's what OTHER people's resolutions should be. Sorry, got mixed up there for a second. Hmm, lets go with, World Peace. That's my answer. Kitso KS 361 times that yes, i realize the irony of an avowed Bush supporter saying that my New Year's resolution is World Peace, so don't bother pointing it out. |
To actually go to class!!!!!
I got by LUCKY in my bio class...i went to the first 2 classes, and then ONLY to the 4 test days and I got a C. God, I love luck (and my good memory from freshman bio in HS and my insane ability for natural deduction) ~*~Mandie~*~ ~*PS*~ I'm not a medicine or science major :-P So don't worry!!!! |
I promised myself I'd lose 20 lbs....don't tell TKE209... ;)
|
new years plan
to buy more lottery tickets so i can get rich. cause other than that im worthless and will never amount to anything.:D
|
To stop lettin bias on GC piss me off cuz they have nothing better to do!
I don't either, but at least I can admit it. |
hey thats not true
i may be worthless but i am trustworthy. you just need to keep your eyes open the right dude will come bye. you just havent found the right one. all the bad ones just prepare you for the right one. lifes about chances. i believe that you have to take chances. you cannt get gun shy, if you do you might pass up one really cool guy. i was that way after a couple girls treated me bad but now i am engaged to this really cool girl and she treats me awsome.

This works every year, so I keep doing it:
I resolve to make no New Year's resolutions this year. |

I know, it's such a common resolution, but I am going to try to eat healthier and work out regularly. I actually started a really good routine in September, just like you pinkyphimu, so it will probably be easy to continue. I would ultimately like a complete transformation by summer....I'm talking tone body, new makeup, and a new haircut and color. But we'll see if all that actually happens.
Good luck to everyone keeping their resolutions in 2004! |
i don't really make new years resolutions.
but i'm in a relatively new relationship and will try my hardest to make it last because i really like this guy--and i never find anyone i like this much! |
I am not a huge fan of resolutions per se, but I will say that as of yesterday, I am exercising more, at least a half-hour EVERY day, I want to be able to eat what I want, and stay healthy. Not really a resolution, more of an updated lifestyle. Hey, good luck to you all.

I'm not usually a resolution person but this time I'm motivated.
First, if I'm about to get pi**ed off at something on GC, I'm going to go back and read all of the threads where everyone came together and supported my AI ups and downs and remember what I'm really here for. The pi**ed-ness evaporates real quick when you do something like that. Second - I'm restarting my AI pursuit. THIS is the year I get settled in my home. Mr. Adrienne sat me down and pointed out that he knows I'm not going to be really happy until I achieve that goal. (Plus he hinted around at a "belated pinning" on Valentine's day as inspiration.) So, my AI search is back on. Brand new start, new research, going into it with a clean slate and open to all of the possibilities (aside from the orgs I've already experienced.) :::Raising coffee mug in a toast::: Here's to a happy 2004 for everybody. Adrienne :D |
Ok, my New Year's Resolutions:
Clear 11ft in the Pole Vault...and then qualify for NCAA Lose the weight I've been carrying around since I had surgery (did you know that you cannot eat the same amount you did while running twice a day for practice, when your fat a$$ is just sitting on a couch? who knew??) so as to be able to make #1 resolution Lighten up, not worry about my sorority as much. The new girls are just going to have to make it without me doing so much!! I'm graduating anyway...So there :p |
