Hey, let me know what time the ceremonies will start, along with any other festivities, please :)

Me too. I'm trying to plan the trip now.

I think that our ceremony is scheduled to begin at 3pm. We have the room reserved from 12pm-6pm on February 29, 2004. That is a Sunday so please make plans to be there.

Do you all have any other activities planned for that weekend or is is just the ceremony on Sunday?

We are supposed to have an after party for all brothers and guest after the ceremony.

As posted on the Region III listserv by Michelle Rash, Section 79 Chair:

It is my honor and privilege to announce that the chartering kit submitted by the Johnson C. Smith Petitioning Group has been approved by the National Board of Directors and that JC Smith gets to proceed with plans for the long-awaited chartering of the Delta Phi chapter.

So....

The chartering ceremony is planned for Sunday, Feb. 29 at 2 p.m. on the
campus of Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte. Immediately following
the brotherhood ceremony will be a dual pledge ceremony for JC Smith's
spring 2004 line as well as the spring pledge class of the Sigma Upsilon
chapter, their big brother chapter. Following the ceremony will be light
refreshments and the presentation of the charter.

All members of Alpha Phi Omega - including pledges and petitioners - are
invited, although the brotherhood ceremony will only be open to initiated
brothers of the fraternity.

Okay everyone its 10 days and counting till we see that oh so wonderful Delta Phi Chapter makes its return. Please come out and support us as we make big things happen!
