Where are all the good guys at?
 

Maybe its just me but for some reason...I cant find any good guys. if I do find someone that I actually like or enjoy hanging out with they turn out to be married or a total freak...Where you at guys? What am i doing wrong?

You want to know the real reason? You probably don't but I'm telling you anyway. The nice guys are right in front of you but all you do is complain about some boy is being mean to you so don't ask you out because we think you love some one else or we like you and decide to ask you out anyway if all you ever do is compare us postively to this asshole and then you get freaked out by it or confussed but here is a hint: if you talk to us we think it means you like us. If you don't like us, don't talk to us. Find the one that listens to you about your boyfriend problems. I'm sure you have one. Make life worth living for that guy. He's helped you through it. It doesn't mean he's gay if he cares about you it just means he cares about you. If some one cares about you then he likes you if he likes you and all you do is complain about boyfriends to him, you should give him a chance. Even if he is a dumbass he will know how to treat you because he knows how you like to be treated based on all the jerks you've told him about it.

It's like going to the library. Everyone wants the newest, "hot" best seller, but there are so many other books that promise a better plot and have more depth. There are so many different kinds of books that are fantastic-many never made ANY best sellers list

Yup... your "nice" guys are the ones that don't play/understand the dating game. Many times they are horrible at flirting and are just generally bad at letting a girl know that they like 'em. So they get to be the yutz that hears about all her woman problems. They get to hear about all her a--hole guys that she dates, etc... It's generally because of a lack of self-confidence or understanding of the opposite sex. Both qualities make them perfect guy friends, right?:D

I agree!!!!!!! Though I think I'm going to just enjoy being single for a while longer ........I'm enjoying my newly found self-confidence :)

I'm discovering and continuing to find the positive in all of the negative that has happened to me in the past month :)

I totally hear yall on this. I seem to be a magnet for scary a**hole guys. And everytime I am done with one I swear the next guy will be different and I won't fall for all that stuff again. This last time though I got hurt more than usual though so I think that helped me out when I started dating someone else b/c while he's still a smartass, my boyfriend is also a total sweetheart who respects me and treats me wonderfully! Sometimes I guess one has to experience the WORST of what's out there in order to appreciate the good. ;)

I think the trick though is to find a great guy for YOU. There are plenty of great guys out there. But one who doesn't mind your borderline psychotic fascination for the forensics shows on Court TV AND likes your dog? Now that's tricky.

You are all funny. I demand everything from any girl I'm with: looks, personality, brains, kindness, etc. Saying look past how they look on the outside is like stepping down a level. And I would like to be the one who determines whether the person is nice - I don't want to listen to anyone complain about how they're nice and get mistreated.
