I got Missy's and Tim's. On Missy's, my favorite track is #7 (I think), the one with her and Rra. On Tim's, my favorite is Indian Flute. Do they play that in the club or on the radio or something? It sounded familiar. #6 gets an honorable mention because I love how the song ends. Cool road trip CDs. I guess I'll be buying Alicia Keys tomorrow.

I purchased the Black Album yesterday. I haven't listened, yet. I also purchased Luther Live.

I'll get Keyes, OutKast, Missy and Tim soon (probably by the weekend). :D

Today, I bought Alicia and Dwele and Nelly's Derty Versions (shhhhh!)

I love it!! I think it's got a really nice vibe to it. I dunno about all them tattoos on Ms.Video Chick, but I love Glenn Lewis. I'll probably get his new CD.

3 words...KAREN CLARK-SHEARD!!! "The Heavens Are Telling" is her best project to date! Listen out for her 16-year old daughter, Kierra. She's dropping her project sometime next year on EMI Gospel.

This project is part live/part studio. The live session has a heavy Praise & Worship feel. The studio session is very contemporary, and even features a track with Missy. They do a BANGIN" remake of "He Loves Me" by Jill Scott. Woooo Weeeeee!!!

Musiq's "Soulstar" is to be released on tuesday Dec. 9th. I can't wait. I also noticed that Carl Thomas has a new video...does anyone know when his album is coming out? It is different to hear someone singing with Carl (LL Cool J was in the video) because on his first CD no one else sang on it. I really like his music he needs to hurry up with the new stuff!:D

Oh no! You bought the Derrty Versions? Say it ain't so! But that Keyes and the Black album are in heavy rotation in my CD player right now.

Heyyyyyyy! That 'Pimp Juice' remix is kind of tight! It features Ron Isley and has a jazzy feel to it. I'm not dissappointed that I bought it. :p

I loveeeee the alicia Keys video for "you don't know my name!" Mos Def has always had a certain somethin' somethin' to me and this video just does it for me! He only spoke two lines really and still gave of a good vibe (as always). Oh yeah the cd is hot too.

Okay, I LOVE this album. I think it is better than her first. The only song I skip over is number 3, Heartburn. What was Timbaland thinking?

Definitely girl! I bought it two weeks ago, when it dropped. I've played it death!! I love it the entire cd.

I bought Dwele's cd last week and I love it! Very neo-soul!

Musiq's cd drops next Tuesday along with Avant and Ruben from American Idol. Let's support our people!

I love Carl Thomas' new song! I heard his cd drops in January. I also love Glen Lewis' single.

Did Kelis' CD already drop? I wanna know when someone gets it, before I buy it myself (you know, get the thumbs up from the homies before I proceed to purchase it myself--it's better than downloading). I like her style...

I'm playing the H-E-Double Hockeysticks out of The Love Below--it' sad, even my newer CD's, like Alicia Keyes (whose CD is bomb, btw), can't maintain against it...:cool:

Dwele's CD is tight, but I can't stand no Avant, with his no-eyes having self (his eyes always look like they're halfway open), crooning "I can read your mind, babaay!"...The video is dumb. He's glancing at homehick, she's looking at him, but thei significant others haven't got a clue--yeah right...:rolleyes:

Ok, I've been through Alicia's CD one and a half times now. So far, I'm not diggin' it at all. I only REALLY like the Diary song. The other ones I could take or leave. I guess I'll keep it since it was only $10. But I'm really not feeling it. Maybe after I listen to it a coupla more times. *shrug* And librasoul, I agree, #3 sucks big time.

I thought I was the only one Ideal! I was like WTF??:mad: Maybe It'll grow on me like foot fungus :p

I got Kelis' new CD!!!! :D I haven't listened to the whole CD yet but overall most of the songs I've heard I've liked.

How did you get it? I thought it was coming out on Tuesday.

It is. My friend, who drives a tractor trailer, was down in either NJ or Philly and they were giving away the CD as a promo. So he got one and gave it to me because I've been talking about it for the past week.

OKay now that I have finally listened to the entire Kelis CD I am feeling, "Glow", "Millionaire" w/ Andre3000, "Sugar Honey Iced Tea", "Protect My Heart", and the beat to the song "In Public" feat. Nas. Overall, IMHO, I like the CD.

MUSIQ is on ATWT. He will be singing @ Jess and Ben's wedding. He actually has a few lines. :o

Musiq's CD is the BOMB. Tracks 1-3 alone are worth my money!!

I also like Kelis alot! Gina, I am digging the In Public song, lol ;)

I'm even digging Musiq's remake of the Rolling Stones "Missing You".

I'm totally feeling Musiq! He's Musiq, you have to love him. I like Avan't cd too. But I'm sorry y'all, nothing has been close to Anthony Hamilton right now. I listen to his cd from beginning to end NONSTOP! Anthony Hamilton is the man!

Joe's cd drops next Tuesday! I'll be coppin' that!

Kelis' CD is the fire!!! I've made it halfway thru Musiq's and I'm diggin' it. I think it's better than his 2nd one, but nothing tops the 1st.

I have to co-sign on Musiq and Anthony Hamilton. I can play both of them without skipping a track. My roommate bought Alicia Key's and it's ok. I'll listen to her's instead of buying my own.

While on a lil road trip yesterday, I listened to A. Keys all the way through. I think the first CD is better. I cannot get past #4..."You don't know my name." It's just the jam! :D IMO, it's the BEST song on the CD. :o

What's wrong with me?! I didn't know that was Kindred singing that song!!! I love that song too! CHOP ME!

Kindred was on Soul Train this Saturday and she looked so beautiful! KEM was on it too. I thoroughly enjoyed them!
