Don't know what prompted this almost public flogging, but the best thing to do is to ignore what that (*$%er did to you and hope (or probably make sure that) he rots in hell. Story of my life, hunnies.

As you get older and you meet more and more of these *(&$ers, your liar/cheater/deceiver radar gets more and more refined. That was what happened to me, anyway.

No one's generalizing the fact that all guys are that way because it's pretty dumb to think that way. The world would be such a better place without people like that.

The title "who's tired of lies/cheat/deceivers" does not say this is a girls thread only to bash on guys. He can post whatever, give the guy a break. I hate it when my guy friends come and tell me about their lying and cheating girlfriends.

Well I dont mean to be a bitch, but if you read the starting post it says "where are my girls out there..............."

One is in my bedroom - and he's taken. But there are thousands of others out there.

What about bf's that constantly talk about other girls, including your friends, in front of you?How hot they are, how they'd "bang" them, etc. I don't care if it's once in awhile, but damn, give me some respect! :mad:

yep yep! I've had a couple of those in my day............those didnt last long, either...........that's just rude and disrespectful......I swear I often wonder if the vast majority of guys will ever grow up.........(disclaimer: I know there are men out there that do not do this and are quite mature in their 20's.......I'm speaking from personal experiences here.....)

Wow...and I thought guys around here were bad. :p There really are nice guys out there, though--I have proof! A guy I went out with a couple of times about two months ago sent me this "present" right before I went on vacation to the Carribbean, and told me to keep it in spite of the fact that I had told him just the day before that I didn't see him in a romantic sense and didn't want to date him. Well, it took me weeks to work up the nerve to open it because I felt so guilty, but when I finally did I couldn't believe it...he had sent me this gorgeous beach bag to take on vacation, and inside was all kinds of stuff, including a couple pairs of sunglasses, a hardcover book, a bathing suit (!) and some other things. All I could think was, "How sweet!" He's really going to make some girl happy one of these days...too bad he just wasn't the guy for me. ;)

I can't say that I've been involved with a girl who's had any of those characteristics, but I have been "that" guy in the past and I do feel bad for girls that have to put up with guys like that.

It takes two to tango (or was it tangle? lol). A liar/cheater/deciever needs a sucker to deceive/cheat/lie to.

I believe we've all been there atleast once......it doenst make it feel any better though.

I think this is only true if the sucker continues to allow the person to deceive/cheat/lie. If you stick around after the lying/cheating/deceiving, then you're the sucker. Just about everybody experiences a lie/cheat at least once (men and women!).

I dated the king of lies and cheating a couple years ago. Charming, intelligent attorney with a great sense of humor and lots of romance... after 6 months, he broke up saying he was getting back together with an ex. We stayed friends, he took me to medical appointments, fixed things around my house, etc. Great guy! One night he calls to ask me to email his gf because she was breaking up with him and he wanted her to hear how much he loves her from someone else. So, I email her telling her how good guys are tough to find, she should hang on to what she's got, etc. She emails back telling me what this "good guy" is like. Turns out they were ENGAGED the whole time I was seeing him (I had NO clue) and not only that, but she knew of at least 15 other women that he had seen while they were dating and she just found out about 5 more that he was CURRENTLY seeing while engaged to her. Talk about a sucker. She actually went back to him AGAIN. She PM'd me a few months later saying "You were right, he's never going to change" and she had found out about 5 or 6 more women he was seeing. Last I heard, they were engaged again <rolling eyes>. Why does she put up with it? Who knows????? I never spoke to him again after that day, except for one email telling him what I thought of him. So, the sucker is the one who continues to put up with it or believes he will change! He truly is the master of deceit and cheat.

With friends like that, I don't need enemies!

Yes I'm finding the good ones here are in relationships as well..........I think I'm better off going it alone. It sucks........but I think I'd rather be lonely than be broken hearted. No pain is worse than that I think.
