Favorite Christmas music
 

I like the soul christmas music, the one that has old skool black people singing in it. I also like the Christina Aguilera christmas cd. And then I also like the one that has the guy singing in it that sounds like Dean Martin.

My favorite Christmas song of ALL TIME is Ave Maria as sung by Harry Connick Jr. It is my father's personal favorite, and I wanted to walk down the isle to it (and still do) :)

I like all the old swing-type Christmas music... anything with Sinatra, or Etta James, or Ella Fitzgerald... etc.

I'm a big fan of Harry Connick Jr. also!

For sentimental reasons, one of my favorites is "The Little Drummer Boy". It was my Grandaddy's favorite and he died 4 days after Christmas 2000, one of the best christmases my family has ever had together. It makes me think of him.

Otherwise, I like "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" and "Angels we have Heard on High"

I also like contemporary carols and such.

Have any of you heard the Transiberian Orchestra? They do AWESOME stuff.....

I prefer the traditional hymns and Christmas songs. Some of my favorites include "O Holy Night", "Carol of the Bells", "Do You Hear What I Hear" and "Silent Night."

I also really enjoy any of Amy Grant's Christmas CDs and I actually enjoy Barry Manilow's "Because It's Christmas," at least I think that is the name of the song.

My family makes me play silent night on the piano each christmas eve....it make me feel so gay.

I've been playing the piano since i was 9 yrs old. bad thing is, no one else in my family plays the piano. The good thing is, when i get settled down...my parents will give me the grand piano for my house!!! Yay!!;)

I love Harry Connick Jr too! I am actually seeing him in concert in December. I can't wait! I try to buy a new Christmas CD every year so I am taking so of these recommendations you guys are making and going to the store!

I'm seriously contemplating purchasing the soundtrack to "A Charlie Brown Christmas". I absolutely love the song "Christmas Time is Here". :) :)

I also like Kirk Franklin's Christmas CD (it came out years ago, still have to purchase it though)
