Poll: The BREAD We Eat
 

Last night I went to Bi-Lo ;) @ Ideal08 for a loaf of bread. I was low key heated that they did not have SARA LEE WHITE BREAD so I had to settle for WHEAT (gross).

So 2 part poll 2day:

1. White or Wheat bread

2. What brand of bread for you?

-generally white, but I do like wheat as well
-right now I have Arnold Low Carb bread, but I don't really have any brand loyalty.

(walgreen's always has the Sara Lee bread)

I prefer wheat

My favorite brands are Sara Lee & Pillsbury ( I think of poking his stomach every time I get a slice. It is so fresh!)

I eat either white or wheat

White: Wonder
Wheat: Any Split top Honey wheat

Wheat all the way, not specific brand

Merita's Autumn Grain wheat bread.

What's sad is that I had to go look in the kitchen. I never paid any attention to the name, I just know the look of the bag. I've been eating this bread since I stayed with Mom-Dukes.

For real? Try Bunny Bread, it's similar to Wonder Bread. It's a little more fluffier though.

Both. Generally, I eat artisanal bread (the fancy stuh). Favorites include La Brea Bakery's French baguette and various breads by a San Diego bakery called Bread et Cie. The owner is a client of my sister's, so we get deals.

I gotta have....

Wonder Bread which is white for myself and I usually get Sun Beam for the kids since the loaves are much larger for the buck.

I hate bread...but if I have to eat it

Don't care which brand...as long as it has 3 or more grams of dietary fiber.

Plain old white for me. Brand does not matter because I do not eat bread that often.

I don't eat much regular bread, but I buy Stroehmann White for my granny.

Personally, I prefer potato bread over all others and they do not sell that here in Florida. But, if I had to choose between white and wheat, I say wheat bread. Not that 57 grain tough as sand paper wheat bread though.

I love that 9 grains bread, but it goes bad too fast.

White bread has the nutritional content of paper. Wheat all the way. I usually pick up the loaf that is highest in fiber and lowest in sugar, so no real preference in brand.

Great for sopping up the mess on your plate (like salisbury steak and au gratin potatoes).
