Leaning toward hate, although I have a few. I prefer mock turtlenecks.

I love turtlenecks....but today I got the CUTEST off-the shoulder sweater at Express...its SOOOO Cute!!!!

I don't really like turtlenecks because they always end up feeling kind of claustrophobic to me. They tend to be too warm, also, like cashmere.

I love turtlenecks! However, I don't get much opportunity to wear them in Florida :( I swear I am moving somewhere where it gets cold. I want actual seasons!

Oh, yes. Oh, yes yes yes. Especially if they're made out of angora or something...the contrast is kind of cool.

I LOVE my turtlenecks. :D I have a closet full of them. And I'm with librasoul about the leather jacket issue. :)

I hated them as a kid. I got a few to keep on the fashion train, and found they can be quite functional. I like the chunky ones - I don't like the t-shirt like ones that my teachers used to wear (y'know, the ones where they have a print for every different season)

No turtlenecks on boys for me. I agree with 33girl - for skiing only!

I loooove turtlenecks and every other kind of sweater. Thank God for my employee discount! :p

Regular turtlenecks are cool for guys if you have the jawline to pull it off, whcih I dont.

Turtleneck sweaters = good
Cotton turtlenecks circa 1991 = bad

Now that I think about it, I've worn a turtleneck every day this week.

I hated them up until a year or two ago, because they felt too constrictive. But if you find the right ones, there's enough space to be able to breathe :)

yup, its from jcrew..i am actually wearing it in this color right now(its from last year though) i also have it in a moss green..i really want it in charcoal..but i think that may be a little much..

i am absolutely in love with their cableknit turtleneck they have this year also..

Are those the t-shirt material type turtlenecks? As outerwear they are horrible, but they are nice to layer under a sweater on a cold day, when it goes below 50 :)

Bad experiences as a child leave me HATING turtlnecks to this day. I like the way they look on hangars and other people (there are some really CUTE t-necks this season), but i can't stand to wear stuff around my neck.

i love those gap ones. i have a few of them. i wear them to work all the time.

Oh, I haven't forgotten. I still have mine, until a few years ago I would wear them when I went skiing. In colors such as teal, royal purple, and fuscia. Oh yes. Now I've discovered the wonderful world of synthetic first layers.

You know, they can be functional, too. Like hiding temporary, ummmm, blemishes on your neck.
