Thanks, Jill! Our editor, Christine Barnicki lives in Los Angeles and has been the editor of The Eleusis since 1992. The magazine has really evolved. Up until the mid 1980s it was like a little booklet with very few pictures or articles -- just basically paragraphs about each active chapter & alumnae chapter happenings. (Certainly nothing worthy of putting on your coffee table!)

I got so excited when I saw the cover - that's a Michigan uniform! The woman pictured was not from my chapter, though. She is an Adrian College alum - Mu Zeta chapter!

Hmmm...wonder if she wears her Chi Omega pin under her highway patrol badge??!?

I just wanted to say that I ****FINALLY***:) :D :D got my Eleusis in the mail yesterday! I was like wow, this is soo awesome!! It was my first one, you betcha I'm gonna save it :)

Hey, BlazerCheer just got her first Eleusis at home and it's the first one I've seen since the seventies. Very, very nice!

Carnation, they have changed a lot since the seventies! Glad you're enjoying it.

The staff is in the process of redesigning the magazine. There is a survey on the website that each of us should complete to assist them with feedback.

Redesign of The Eleusis

The new look and feel of our magazine will be unveiled this spring! When you receive The Eleusis, you will immediately notice a difference in the size of the magazine, new front cover with masthead, change in the paper weight, and new listing of editorial departments. We look forward to sharing this new format with you all soon!

Does anyone have Eleusis of Spring and Summer 2003?
 

I am a Chi Omega alumni and I have been searching for a long time for the Spring and Summer 2003 issues of the Eleusis. (Unfortunately they did not start putting them online until Fall 2003.) Is there any Chi Omega out there that has copies of these? I just need one page out of one of them (I'm not sure which) which contains a little article that I am searching for. If someone has these and would be willing to Xerox that page for me, I would be eternally grateful. (Of course I would pay for any costs involved.) Please let me know if you have copies of these and you would be able to help. Thank you in advance!!!
