Friendly reminder to find 10 minutes in your day to go vote :)

33girl 11-04-2003 11:15 AM

BUMP BUMP BUMP!!!!!

Hootie 11-04-2003 11:16 AM

I didn't know we were voting today! I'm trying to forget that this is November all-together!

SATX*APhi 11-04-2003 11:50 AM

I can't. I'm away from home. :( But for those of you who CAN vote, GOOO NOW!!

ZTAngel 11-04-2003 11:54 AM

Unfortunately, I didn't get an absentee ballot and my voting precinct is about 3 hours away (I'm still registered back at my hometown). But, for those who can, VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Munchkin03 11-04-2003 11:56 AM

There aren't any local/state elections in my home state, so I am able to celebrate the 4-day weekend my school gave us! Woo-hoo!

Just remember: if you don't vote, you don't count and you have no right to complain.

I hope the current mayor of Philly gets outsted. He reminds me of one of those guys who were involved with the black panthers back in the 60s and 70s.

CatStarESP4 11-04-2003 01:00 PM

I don't know what I am voting for or against in my area!

Cashmoney,
Nothing was proven in the Street probe yet. Apparently, you don't know everything about politics. :p

The1calledTKE 11-04-2003 03:50 PM

I voted but there wasn't much to vote for. I am ready for the dang primaries tog et here though.

Optimist Prime 11-04-2003 07:36 PM

I thought voting happened next year. You're still of beaause of daylight savings time.

sigtau305 11-04-2003 07:44 PM

I just got through voting.

DeltAlum 11-04-2003 07:46 PM

Voted by mail two weeks ago. With the exception of a couple of state issues, pretty dull election.

cash78mere 11-04-2003 08:40 PM

i always vote, but i have no idea who is running or what their platforms are for this election. i won't vote for someone simply because of their party, so i'm sitting this one out--which makes me sad

aephi alum 11-04-2003 11:28 PM

I voted... I had to wait over an hour, though. Apparently all the voting machines in my town were mis-configured. They managed to fix one of the machines in my district, so everyone was lined up to use that one voting booth. In another district they had to use paper ballots. It'll be a while before we know the results, but I'm proud that I stuck it out and made my voice heard. (And I hope we have a new first selectman in a few weeks. :p )

I haven't missed an election since I was 18, and this one was important to me. If a certain person wins a county seat, I will most probably move!

33girl 11-05-2003 12:25 AM

To our new county executive...

Dan Onarato: fine, you won. Can you please remove that poofy poof of hair or whatever it is from your forehead? Thank you.

For sure, he won?

I better start getting my house ready for sale!

33girl 11-05-2003 12:39 AM

They projected Onarato 58%, Roddey 42%.

I myself will be selling some plasma tomorrow. :)

AchtungBaby80 11-05-2003 12:43 AM

I voted, but the @$#%&@^ Republicans won anyway. :(

Lady Pi Phi 11-12-2003 08:11 AM

Even though I'm not in the US, Ontario just had a municipal election on Monday and I voted...and my candiadates won!

Now maybe they can stopp kissing ass in my office (if I hear John Tory's name one more time I'm going to be sick)
