NFL Update Baby!

Well doubters! Bite a hunk!

CHIEFS, KANSAS CITY THAT IS!

HMMMMM!:D

Think that makes the Chiefs 8-0, no fluks Sun. Night!

DeltaSigStan 10-28-2003 12:51 AM

The Chiefs still suck for ruining the Chargers perfect 0-16 season a couple years back. Thanks for being that "1" on 1-15.

DSStan-
You will NEVER be forgiven for that.

Imthachamp 10-28-2003 12:51 AM

rams vs titans in superbowl.

sorry but the chiefs are overrated.

Tom Earp 10-28-2003 12:56 AM

cheifs have looked mighty good so far.

overratd? No way...

They actually have a good season and people are bitching overrated.

Chiefs vs vikings in the superbowl.

Both the rams and the titans are overrated, in a major way.

sigtau305 10-28-2003 01:11 PM

Chiefs looking real good so far. I wish I can say the same for the Browns.:(

tinydancer 10-28-2003 01:25 PM

If anything, the titans are underrated.

Stevie Mac is the best QB in the NFL right now. The guy's the definintion of a gamer, may miss practice cuz he's injured, but then comes out on Sunday and excels.

KS 361 days before the Texans are gonna contend for a playoff berth, i FEEL it

Just to get some 'lovin' for a bit

How about those Cowboys?

5-2 BABY!!

And like most of the haters say to us, I say to the Chiefs. . ."They haven't really played anybody!!!"

you're kiddin right?

im sure all fans can agree that the cowboys are NOT a good team. they have had some lucky bounces.

quincy is a terrible qb. their RB is terrible. they have a nice defense and a trio of recievers...

and the rams are not overrated. they barely get any attention...minnesota/kc are. how many times has dante hall had to save the chiefs from a loss?

Re: Just to get some 'lovin' for a bit

ewwwwwww! Anti Dallas! I root for 2 teams: The Redskins (who have choked the last couple of games) and ANYBODY playing the Dallas Cowboys!

And of course the husband is a Seahawks fan!

White_Chocolate 10-28-2003 02:42 PM

I agree that Quincy is no Troy Aikman but he does have some pretty big shoes to fill
And there will never be another Roger Staubach
Although some have tried to come close

We've had some okay players though
Deion "Twinkle Toes' Sanders
Michael 'Dopehead' Irvin
Emmitt 'Town Crier' Smith

Yes, Dallas will make a comeback
I'm not expecting them to be perfect but considering this time of the year, a couple of years ago
Dallas has come a long way

And who has Dallas played? The Chiefs did beat Denver, who if they had Plummer for the past couple of weeks would be the 2nd best team in the NFL right now. Dallas lost to ATLANTA!!! And when they actually played a team that has a pair (Tampa) they get shutout.

The Chiefs are real.
Dick Vermiel is the greatest coach ever.

The Chiefs probably won't end the season undefeated, but with homefield advantage practically already locked up, they have to be the favorite for a Super Bowl berth.

you baggin on Emmitt?

I mean, i disagree with him leaving Dallas for Arizona, but if he thinks he can still play, he's entitled to it.

Other than that, Emmitt will always be one of the greatest Cowboys ever.

Kitso
KS 361 Emmitt Rookie cards i have

DeltaSigStan 10-28-2003 05:11 PM

All I have to say about Emmitt:

"My daughter called.....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh hhhh"

LMAO I was so trashed when I saw his post game interview after he had -3 yds against Dallas. I seriously have never laughed that hard. Sack up big man, Jesus.

Imthachamp 10-28-2003 05:14 PM

emmitt cant even crack the top 5 best rbs of all time.

1 barry sanders
2 walter payton
3 marshall faulk
4 jim brown
5 oj simpson

DeltaSigStan 10-28-2003 05:38 PM

1) Jim Brown
2) Walter Peyton
3) Barry Sanders
4) Emmitt Smith
5) The Murderer

Marshall Faulk is still too young to tell what overall impact he'll have....plus you never know which Rams team is going to show up on Sunday.

damasa 10-28-2003 05:49 PM

Imthachamp:

Dante Hall does play for the chiefs right? Even if he has "had to save the team from some losses" a win is a win is a win. I don't care if it's one point or twenty points. People say the Cheifs are lucky this and lucky that but a good/solid team can come out on top even in those close to call games.

I do also like the Rams and the Titans but I've always been a Cheifs fan. Not to mention the Cheifs have been #1 in the NFL power rankings, what, six times now?

As for the Titans being underrated? Man, everyone on ESPN is jocking that team (I do agree that mcnair is something fierce though).

As for whoever said the Chiefs haven't played anyone worth playing yet while gloating about the Cowboys, what?

Cowboys have played (among others(, Atlanta (1-6), New York Giants (3-4), New York Jets 92-5), Arizona (2-5), Detroit Lions (1-6).

(Oh, they haven't played anyone real yet).

I'm disappointed in the Eagles, I thought they would have much more this season.

New superbowl prediction: Chiefs vs Panthers.

yes, you're right, a win IS a win, but they are not as solid as everyone thinks. there defense is ok. they kind of remind me of the 2000 rams.

the titans are real nice and there is NO way the chiefs can take out tennessee if eddie george decides to show up.

as for the NFC

vikings, cowboys, carolina = overrated. delhomme shouldn't be allowed to hold a football, let alone throw it.

carolina was MANHANDLED by the titans.

with faulk back soon, there is no way anyone can beat the rams.

rams 30 titans 17

True, Chiefs D has been lacking but in the same sense it is starting to pick it up. Seven forced turnovers against the Bills? I feel something on the rise, it's the last link they need to put together.

Chiefs vs. Titans in the AFC Championship game. KC by 10.

I just don't see the Titans being the best team in the league right now. Lets not forget about Indy, I think they still have a run at it (they whomped the titans in the beginning of the season).

i think indy is good, but you know how they are in the playoffs. i think peyton is really overrated and im not sure whats going on with edge. he is always hurt and stuff.

i actually hope for a KC- Rams superbowl so i can see a 59-49 victory by st louis :D

the only thing that can prevent the rams from doing it is that moron martz.

KSig RC 10-28-2003 06:16 PM

all I have to say to chiefs fans:

chicago bears, 12-4, 2001

boy the bears played great in that superbowl

Speaking of Manning, have you ever watched his drops? I was looking at how he dropped back on SC today and I started cracking up, he looks almost retarded when he does it.

What about those Packers you freaking lame ass cheeseheads?!

bafromkc 10-28-2003 07:47 PM

Marshall Faulk doesn't even belong in the Top 10 best running backs of all time. why not through in Barry Foster and Bam Morris why we're at it. they had a few good years too.

DeltaSigStan 10-28-2003 08:11 PM

Bong Morris is more like it

marshall faulk is perhaps the greatest overall running back ever.

1000 yards rushing and 1000 yards receiving? he should of won the mvp twice instead of warner

he also led the greatest OFFENSE to ever exist (rams 99-01)

yah he isnt that good right?

Emmitt 13 yrs. 17,162 yds. 153 TD's 3 Super Bowl Rings
Barry 10 yrs. 15,269 yds. 99 TDs 0 Rings

Pretty sure that Emmitt belongs on any list that Barry is on, and definately before him.

Broncos...

Let's Go Broncos, Let's Go!!

OH YEAH baby,

take it to those Chiefs. I feel it, after today, the Broncs win out and kick it on into the playoffs!

KS 361 times i'm gonna tell Eddie Kennison that after they get their asses hadned to them by the Broncos today, he can just shut his damn mouth

Thrillhouse 12-07-2003 10:12 PM

Wow, the eagles are on a roll. I am still cautiously optimistic after what happened last year:mad:

DeltaSigStan 12-08-2003 05:08 AM

11-2 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

*knock on wood* I'm riding this until it's over. And don't trip, I still think they won't be able to run the table all the way to the Lombardi trophy, the way they're getting hurt and having to squezze it out often.

But, NFL Parity rocks. It's like everyone but the Chargers have a chance every year!

breathesgelatin 12-08-2003 05:27 AM

How 'bout those Panthers??

This is the first time in like 5 years we've been decent! LOL

The Chiefs were handed something proper....ouch.

Many teams do though so it's all good. At least they beat the Broncos the first meeting this year. After that show of force it would suck if they didn't get into the playoffs with their remaining schedule and all.

Damn the Pats, woo!

Where are all the "Titans are the best team in the league" groupies at now huh?!
