Which side of your family do you like more?
 

Which extended family do you relate more to? Mom's or dad's?

my dad's.

i don't really know too many people on my mom's side.

Tough one...

I like my mom's brothers and sisters (my aunts and uncles) and their kids the best - BUT i like my dad's parents (my grandparents) the best!

Wow - I can't believe i just said that! Don't get me wrong, I love them all very very much, but we all have favorites (just like i'm my parents favorite child ;))

I like my mom's side of the family a lot better than my dad's.

Mom's side. They rock. We're all really close.

My dad's side is full of assholes. I don't want to even invite them to my wedding.

I'm definately closer to my father's side.

My Dad's side (about 11 people)... its smaller so we're closer...
My Mom's side (about 31 people) is gossip-galore... and I just don't relate with many of them.

Dad's, because most of my mom's side do not live in the U.S.

I like my dad's side only because there's so many aunts and uncles, cousins and FUN!

My mom has one sibling (a brother) that we haven't spoken to in about 6+ years. But I love love love my mom's parent's MOST! My mom's dad is the only grandpa I've ever had :(

i love my mom's side of the family. i love my dad's too, but they scare me for some reason. i just feel really weird around them. i really love one of my mom's brothers (she has 6 brothers and sisters)
i am not too crazy about my dad's family, cause they always make me feel bad about what i have. they look at me and my sister as these spoiled snobby girls. it ticks me off

Well, really I don't look either side. Everyone in my family (parents, sister, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles) have dark hair and dark eyes. Somehow, I ended up with dark blonde hair and green eyes. :confused: One of my great-grandmothers was a redhead and another was a blonde so it might be a mixture of those two.
People say I look a little bit like my dad. Same eye shape and face shape. I have my mother's facial expressions and mannerisms. It's funny but with some of my facial expressions I will look identical to my mom.

My dad's side has all the kooks - their claim to fame is that 4 of them were in a religious cult similar to David Koresh in Waco:eek:

my "father's" family lives hours away so we never see them but my mom's lives within minutes

My dad's side is very large and they all live very close to each other so they don't really do stuff with the rest of us.

My mom's...they are not as big as my dad's side and all live closer, so I know them a lot better. My dad's side is pretty cool though.

Now that I'm married...I like my side better. :)

Well I live close to both sides, but since my dad was adopted there has always been this stigma there where he was the adopted child so we arent really the blood relatives.. kind of odd.. but i love my cousins.. (plus my aunt is crazy.. seriously i think she really is)

my mom's side is much larger.. she is one of five and then all of my extended family still lives in the same county as well.. we hang out all the time.. having parties, bonfires, dinners together, and since all of us cousins were all about the same age growing up we are all real close... we even have a family song that we all dance to.. :D

Definitely my mother's side. Her mother passed away before I was born, and those who knew her are always saying that I look just like her.

I have only met my dad's mother one time, when I was 13. I have never met my dad's father, who happen to live on my way home from work~~ I have been tempted to stop and introduce myself.

I like my mom's side more. It's bigger and family is more important. They're also my laid back South Dakota residents.

My dad's family is all new yorkers. And y'all know my general dislike for anything New York.

But my cousins on my dad's side of the family are all like me in some sort of way. . .we rock in the most significant kind of ways
