Secret Squirrels!!!
 

Okay. Here it is. The guidelines for this year's secret squirrels. Yeah! :)

Send an email to Lori at lori@texasalphagams.com and include the following information:

GreekChat User Name
Real & Full Name
Mailing Address
Phone Number (for shipping purposes)

Lori will assign each of us a squirrel and email us their information. Easy!
If you need any additional information or need to contact a squirrel just email Lori.

Lori will distribute your secret squirrel on Sunday, November 2nd. So anyone who wants to play needs to have emailed Lori her information by Saturday, November 1st.
Anyone who didn’t get to reply or any new Alpha Gam GC’ers who want to participate after this date, email Lori and she will get you paired up as squirrels become available.

Financial Limitations: $20 or less. (Unless you really really want to spend more.) Remember, it's the thought and fun that counts! (copied from Lynn’s post last year)

All squirrels should try to send/receive their gifts between December 1st and December 12th. Then we can all reveal and gossip all weekend long!!

Kristen, We also might want to add something personal about ourselves to help the giftgiver. Things that might be inaproprate, for instance (i.e. a diabetic might not want to have sweets, some of us are Jewish, and may not celebrate Christmas, but may enjoy Hanukkah etc....) Maybe we could let Lori know what kinds of things we like.

I think participants should include their chapter names, too.

(I just signed up, and I did.)

Sorry. Emails have not gone out yet. She didn't get back to me last night. And she has class this morning. I will post as soon as the emails start going out. :)

News update!!! Talked with Lori today. She is going to send out Secret Squirrels this coming up Sunday. (She has been completely swamped with school & work this week). I hope this isn't too inconvenient for anyone.

The bright side is that this leaves more time for people to sign up! :D

Lori is without internet access until Tuesday afternoon. Emails will be sent then. Sorry again for the delay.

I went to my mom's at lunch today. And Lori was there, and I spotted Secret Squirrels on the computer screen. So I know she was working on getting the information together. We should hear something soon. :)

For whoever has me as a SS... I would like to help you out, if you are having issues.

Last year I received the 2003 orniment (can't spell), so I would love to have this up coming year or anyone from the past. (RoseGarden has some of the past years still available). I would like to have any of them since 1999 when I initiated.

Also on Ebay, there is a "new" set of cards that I would love to have with my name on it. The set is 10 cards with red gingum and AGD on the front. They cost 6.99 and I'm thinking that I am going to get a few packs for sisters and maybe my ss. Though I have alot already in store.

I'm also wanting to get a red and buff rose tea cup... the little ones. I've inherited a collection, so that would be something nice to had to the collection... though they aren't cheap so please keep that in mind.

I hope others will post their "want list". For the most part all of these should be under 20 dollars in price.

I don't have any of the Christmas ornaments - so thats fair game

I love all things squirrels - I've been wanting the large Anne Gedde's one for awhile, but haven't gotten around to getting it yet :)

AGD stationary is great! I love using snail mail :)

hmmm.....thats all I can think of right now...



I already have my SS's gift wrapped and ready to be shipped! just gotta wait for payday next Friday :D






EDITED because I thought of one more thing - T-shirts! I have collected a few more, but I'm still in need so I can complete my patchwork pillow set to match the quilt!

I went to 5 stores today before I found something I liked for my ss :D Next week I want to go to the Big City...or least a suburb and pick out something.

I'd love the 2003 AGD ornament too, I have the very first one (I think it's the Brass Amorial Bearing, 1999 I think, and 2001 I know..can't remember 2000 so someone would have to tell me what it looks like. I know I don't have 2002.

The AGD keychain would be nice so ladies at the gym would know I'm an AGD:)

Y'all know I love squirrels, lol.

Anything else, I'm flexible. Can't think of anything I'd not like..after all I know how much time it take to think and find something for someone you've never met (probably, lol).

no offense, but I think my squirrel collection is complete. lol. I have enough. ;) I have enough agd shirts to last a long time.

ornaments are cool. classy decorative things are good too.

personally i've always loved the ornaments, but never gotten myself one.

other than those, i LOVE alpha gam stuff (especially bid day shirts 'size M' and squirrel stuff)
