32 New Chapters or Colonies?
According to the NPC site there are 32 new chapters or colonies, but they don't list them and I don't know what the date was for the 32 (meaning I don't know what the time frame was).
So I was wondering if you know of a colony or new chapter that has been established during the last year. If they are colonizing next spring please tell us Spring 2004 or something... Thanks! |

Maybe the number on the NPC website only refers to those colonizations that occured in 2003 seeing as how fall 2002 is more than a year ago in most cases. I'm not cure if it has happened yet but word on the street is that Alpha Chi Omega is recolonizing at Colorado State this year.
|
Typically, the NPC numbers reflect the last biennium because they are included in the reports and discussion at the fall meeting held in early October. That means the number probably does not include this fall (2003.) I believe they include Fall '01 through Spring '03. NPC usually releases figures in this manner. If this is not right, maybe it is since the meeting in fall '02, but awards and other details are on the biennium schedule. The important things is that more women are able to experience what we all hold so dear. Yay for the new chapters and colonies!!!

Alpha Phi is rechartering Saturday at Duke.

Phi Sig has chartered a new chapter in 2003. I think we also got a new colony. I don't remember what schools though.
|
Alpha Xi Delta is returning to Culver-Stockton and also to Cornell.
