hi girls!!

just a few words to let you know whats goin on at the delta zeta chapter!!

we had our pinning on wednesday....9 girls!!!!! and they had their first meeting yesterday. they are all so excited about it. this is an awesome class which is good cause we are going to be losing some of the most amazing women this year!! :(

also...i was wondering if any of you have any good songs that you sing maybe when ur in a sing-off. we are kind of in this very friendly competition w/the biys of Tau Epsilon Phi at our school and we like to sing our songs together when we are there. if you have any and know the tune of it....please let me know. we can't let stupid boys beat us. the only 2 songs we really know that is good for this competition is the "you wish u were a sig delt" and of course "who has the torch who is the big #1" either post it here or pm me or you can email them to bailey25mb@aol.com. thanks girls and good luck w/all ur new members!!!!!

so are you thinking along the lines of In and Out songs?

we just need some songs...in and out will be fine. mostly we need them for battles with the brothers of TEP. :D we do need some songs for next rush though. we know like two that we can sing...its kind of pathetic. anyway...anyone that can help...i would appreciate it!!

also, jsut an update for you...or girls get initiated today!!!!!!!!:D :) :D :D im so excited!!! this class is so awesome and our gamma class is already gettin ready for next semester....thank god rutgers is starting to show some greek life here!!!

AKA, Inc. had a good line and TEP have a few new brothers getting initiated in a few days. also, KAP, Inc. had a good line too. good luck to all the girls gettin initiated and welcome to the greatest sisterhood on the earth!!!

We already know SIG, If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life, So long farewell, and the Do you want a nickel song, (SDT chant too) so any songs you could give us would help a lot. Right now we are looking for a cute song to sing at our theme night (mardi gras), Pref Party, and Bid day!

so we just finished up our preference ceremony at Alpha Zeta (Pitt) and we're stoked for bid night! we are lacking, however, in cheers. we have a lot of songs, but we really need cheers. the couple that we have are the following:
You wish you were a sig delt S-IG, S-S-I-G-M-A cuz sig delts do it better D-EL, D-D-E-L-T-A, T-A-U woo woo! T-A-U woo woo! T-A You wish you were a sig delt (etc. for about 3 times)

If you're looking for cheers, it is easy to make some up using football/basketball cheers; I was a cheerleader in High School so for our cheers during IM and such we've taken cheers I knew then and changed the name from "Mustangs" or "Mason" (my school) to "SDT" or "Sig Delt"
