Does anyone know when this is going to be up and running again? I check every once in a while and it's still not up. Anyone have any ideas?

No idea at all. I believe they are overhauling the entire site.

This overhaul is taking forever!!! I thought the point of doing it was to give a better represnetation of Zeta for PNMs as they do research! Most schools are done with Fall recruitment by now!!

Hopefully the new site will be easier for them to update and we will be able to have accurate information on the site. I know that the Kappa Omicron chapter (the chapter I advise) is not listed on the list of chapters and to me, that sends a bad message to the chapter and to those looking into the chapter. And who knows how many other new chapters aren't recognized on the website. Honestly, I find it frustrating....

If anyone knows anything, I'd love to know.

The website has need to be updated for a LONG time. If you look att the other NPC sorority national websites, they all have cool graphics, flash, and great toolbars. You can tell ZTA's was circa 1998. :)

I can't wait to see the new and improved website. I hope it gets finished soon!

Spoke with a National Council member tonight at Alumnae Open House event. Apparently the company that is overhauling the site is looking for more $$$ and that is holding up it's launch. She will keep me updated, and I will pass them on to you!

Oh Lord! I hate it when people want to nickel and dime others, especially non-profit organizations! AHHH! :mad:

And especially when we have a ton of talented alumnae that could have redesigned the web site for free.

Seriously. I know that we've had a few IT/Graphic Art/Computer Science majors graduate from my chapter. I'm sure that there's hundreds of others that graduated from other chapters. I'm positive that most of these women would have taken a few hours out of their day and dedicated it to creating the website.

Oh I know! I mean is this where our dues are going when it could've been done for free? I mean I know the breakdown when it comes to paying my dues to my chapter but what is the breakdown once those dues get to nationals? I know we are a wonderful group of girls but we seriously need to ask questions, especially when some chapters are paying between $700 to $1,000 a semester or year.

I was hoping the website would be updated before some of our chapters begin their Spring Rush. Doubtful, though. Hopefully it will be updated by Fall Recruitment.

I haven't heard anything. Maybe Meredith knows.

I haven't heard anything new from Peggy now that you mention it. I will try and call her this weekend and get an update....

It looks like IO is preparing to move forward with a new webiste! When you go to the homepage you get a pop-up survey that you can fill out to help with ideas for the new site.

There are some really cool options there. Check it out and share your opinions!!

That's strange. When I went to the site, I got a pop up for the Foundation Position. :-(

Try refreshing the page, or clearing your temporary internet files. It could be that your computer is loading the cached page.

I'm so excited that they're using our input! Some of the ideas they had on there (like a chatroom) seem really interesting. I can't wait until the summer when they have the website completed!!!!

to all who have posted the info. and the link for the webpage survey. ztangel there was a chatroom which was great fun until they shut it down to update the website. but then i wouldn't have found greekchat!

Really? I thought there was just the message board. When did the chat room shut down?

i just gave you some misinformation-the chat room was on yahoo . also, do you still know someone at the ucf house? one of our naples legacies is touring ucf, usf and fsu in a few weeks and while i have an fsu contact, none of us know any girls in the ucf house. her mom(an alum from texas tech/smu) wants to show her the house and introduce her to a few of the eta kappas when they tour that campus. she has been admitted to all three schools and is trying to decide where to go. thanks.she's a doll and she told me this past fall that she had decided to join a sorority after seeing how much fun we have as alums! maybe we will get a rush thread out of this(and a new zeta too!)lisa

Look for the site late summer to early fall.

I would think Convention would be the best time to debut a new site.
