Violence!

Threw someone off of something (stages, moving floats, steps)?

Threw a FORK at someone? ;)

Punched someone?

Keyed someone's car?

Something more serious? :(

What violent acts have YOU committed?

decadence 10-01-2003 09:52 AM

I'm ashamed to say this but recently, there was this fly buzzing around. There were two of us in the kitchen, me and a girl. I didn't shirk my responsibility - I knew what I had to do. Without a thought to my own personal safety I bitch-swatted the fly. I'm not into violence but sometimes what else can you do?

ilovemyglo 10-01-2003 09:56 AM

LOL Dec!!

The last violent act I committed was at a bar,
there was a guy that decided it would be a good idea to touch me in my super secret special place (I mean full frontal groin area grope!) and I didn't know him, nor did I invite him to touch my body in ANY area much less THAT one, so I turned around and kneed him in the nuts.
Don't touch my Mounds and I won't touch your Almond Joy,
Unless it is previously okayed.

edited to add: this was 2 years ago.

You are scary.

I am too much of a wimp to ever do anything violent. I usually just give people dirty looks and they get the point. This last weekend I was at a party and this really drunk guy spilled his beer all down the front of my khaki skirt and he didn't even apologize! So I took my beer and threw it in his face. Not violent, but I felt kind of bad. I can't believe I did that in front of a room full of people though and I thought the kid was going to kill me!

Sometimes beer has a mind of its own. I have witnessed beer fly out of its glass right into someone’s face before. It was not your fault!

Rudey 10-01-2003 12:57 PM

One time a girl thought it'd be funny to pour a bit of beer on my head at a party.

-Rudey
--I jammed the coldest beer can I could find right between her legs (skirt) when she was making out with my buddy.

I'm with you on the violence thing. Today after my German class, I felt so stupid for not knowing some of the work that i went to the gym and beat the hell out of a punching bag for 1 hour straight. I feel a little bit better now. I need to go to the foreign language lab tonight and I think I'll feel a little bit better. My professor has been pissing me off by making smart a$$ comments to me. I don't think she knows what she's dealing with. But, I do feel much better now after beating the crapp out of a punching bag.

Hootie 10-01-2003 01:11 PM

Um a few years ago my brother provoked me and I pushed him...dunno if that counts? But he used to beat up on me all the time when I was little so I've learned how to fight back ;)

But other than the push, I don't use violence. Violence solves nothing.

But it does release tension built up by stress.

sigmagrrl 10-01-2003 01:27 PM

I am so anti-violence, it's not funny.

I get very scared when a fight or argument breaks out near me...

I don't like to watch it on TV either, real or staged....

I've never been in a fight either...

Hootie 10-01-2003 01:27 PM

I took a stress management class this summer....
I don't recall them telling us to punch someone or key their car. But they suggested breathing exercizes, yoga, a journal of stressors, and practicing assertiveness.

Yeah, brothers suck. I threw a fork at one last night (don't worry, it missed him).

Rio_Kohitsuji 10-01-2003 02:15 PM

Well...the last violent thing that I did was yesterday. *teehee* My boyfriend and I were in the Art Gallery when we just started to pick on eachother. He finally got me to the ground doing a leg sweep when I reached up and punched him in the nuts... :o I actually meant to hit him in the thigh..I missed...oops!

Ginger 10-01-2003 05:10 PM

I went to an Evanescence concert a few weeks ago. There was PLENTY of room where I was standing, but this group of girls kept bumping into me. I'd back up, they'd back up, and Suzy McSnooty would continue to bump into me.

After about 3 or 4 circles of me backing up and them backing up, I elbowed the girl hard in the back.

And of course I was So Very Sorry! I wasn't aware she was standing RIGHT THERE!

They got the message.

PM_Mama00 10-02-2003 01:07 AM

School was filled with violence today. I think it started cuz the guys kept sayin that this banner said STOP to get people's attention, and that it was proclaiming intimate violence week. Hmmm noooo

Ok so one of the guys keeps taking his brother's hat. Finally A gets it back from B. B rips it out of his hand and accidently hits my sister in the face hard!

A few minutes later I kept petting my friend's boyfriend just to be annoying, and he slaps me in the leg really hard. Later on, boyfriend is playing with waterbottle, throws it and hits B in the face.

It was all really funny tho!

I've only gotten into one real fight, and that was with my cousin in front of my own house. We were both banged up pretty bad.

I broke an ex boyfriend's nose. Before you guys start screaming "WTF?" , I'll make a long story short and say that he deserved it and that taught him a lesson to never lay a finger on a woman like that again.

I've keyed cars before.

And, most recently, I threw my boots at the car belonging to the dipshat who decided to dump my arse on my birthday. It was a brand new 2003 Acura RSX Type S. I found out that the car had two dents. My boots had no battlewounds. :D

RACooper 10-02-2003 10:14 AM

wow... I feel kinda bad now.....

Violent acts:
More than a couple random fights at bars over the way some jackass was treating or acting around girls I know. (very nearly in one last night)
Standard hockey fights.....
Standard rugby games.....
7 years in military with 1 tour in Bosnia.

Rio_Kohitsuji 10-02-2003 11:55 AM

All I'm going to say is "Actives can't hit pledges, but pledges can hit actives"

Thats pretty bad.

I know this one guy who was dating this really aggressive girl. He said something not so nice and she broke a beer bottle over his head. After he came to and was all bloody, he punched her in the face and knocked her out. They both were arrested. The wierd thing was, they still dated for a while after that....Twisted if you ask me.

What the...??

Can you explain that?

librasoul22 10-02-2003 12:25 PM

Ok, yes I have pushed someone off the stage at a club before. If I keep moving away from you indicating that I DON'T want to dance or otherwise interact with you, leave me alone!

I have also had a guy follow me from the club tailgating me with his brights on...all the way to my friend's house. Kinda scary so I rammed my car into his and he sped away. My car is already messed up (but not any worse for wear after this incident), his was a pretty nice 626...don't know what damage if any I did though.

Peaches-n-Cream 10-02-2003 05:17 PM

I haven't had a fight since I was a kid. I would use violence to protect myself if I had to.

LOL! We had an activity the other night and well, it was dark..and we jumped the actives, it was all in good fun though :) They needed to get muddy too ;)

moe.ron 10-03-2003 03:41 PM

This guy decided to jump from the stage feet first. His foot hit this guy. Before anything can happen, he jetted. Then, he decided to go on stage and jump off again. This time we caught him and threw right into the pit where he was stomped.
