Since the Lion King is coming out on DvD next tuesday, I wanted to see which Disney movies are popular amongst you all.


Mine: The Lion King and Alice in Wonderland.

it's all about Robin Hood.

He's one sex-ay fox.

The big four from my childhood were The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. I love Lilo & Stitch and Sleeping Beauty too.

Beauty & the Beast is my all time favorite. As for the recent releases I really like Lilo & Stitch. :)

OH!, I love Mulan as well....once my theater professor's little daughter asked me if I was Mulan. The whole class cracked up as my face turned bright red.

I am a huge Lion King fan and can't wait for to get it, but I have to agree that Finding Nemo is also awesome. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD in November.
Oh and I am a huge Lilo and Stitch fan, especially Stitch.

Little Mermaid is my favorite - it doesn't get any better than Sebastian and Flounder!

I just bought Sleeping Beauty the other day and I didn't realize how short it is! I remember it being a lot longer but then again I was 10 the last time I saw it I think.

Has anyone else noticed that all the Disney princesses get married when they are 16?

Sleeping Beauty, LITTLE MERMAID!!!!, Alladin, and Lilo & Stitch! I am obsessed with Lilo & Stitch, movies just don't get much better than that, in my opinion haha. :D

I love Disney... Favorites are The Lion King and Aladdin, I also like Beauty and the Beast and A Bug's Life. Finding Nemo was too cute...

Hands down # 1 all time favorite disney movie : The Little Mermaid... I know every line in that entire movie by heart! It's a classic. I even had the sequel The Little Mermaid: Return to Sea placed on pre order when it came out back in 2000 (it sucked though, never touched the original). I also know where all the subliminal messages are hidden...

In a close 2nd place is : Lion King... I know almost every line to this movie, too. I can't wait till its out on DVD. I hope the new song is only in the extra disk, not in the actual movie. Ditto with the subliminal messages.

As for the newer movies, I really liked Finding Nemo when I saw it in the theater. I'll definately get that on DVD when it comes out. I thought Ellen what hilarious!

My favorites have to be Mulan -- because I always love a gal who can kick some arse...and Lilo and Stitch -- which is pretty self-explanatory. I am kinda biased since one of the nieces sang in the childrens' choir that sang on the soundtrack.

I hate the Disney versions of fairy tales with a white-hot passion, because Disney distorts the real meaning behind them, and future generations will never "get" The Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid, etc.

I don't know if they are Disney films, but I loved Bambi and Snow White as a girl.

Favorite Disney Character - Meeko from Pocahontas hands down that racoon is hilarious

Favorite Disney regular movie - the original Parent Trap with Haley Mills. And also Escape to Witch Mountain which has finally come out on DVD yeah!!!

Yup. There you have it. My all time favorite movie and it just happens to be something from Disney is Mary Poppins. And I love The Little Mermaid soundtrack.

When I was 17, my mom took me to see Fantasia on its 50th anniversary release and I loved it. I saw The Little Mermaid once and Beauty and the Beast twice in college. I saw Sleeping Beauty and Mary Poppins when I was a little girl.

As for non-animated disney movies...can't go wrong with Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks (man, a classic) and I sweat the kiddy disney movies like Zenon and Smart House lol

Whoa, Escape to Witch Mountain. I used to love that movie, but I always forget it's Disney. For cartoons, I've always loved Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King.

There were some hokey movies with Hayley Mills from the 1960's about teenagers in boarding school convents. I think they were something like the Trouble with Angels and something like More Trouble with Angels, Where Angels Get in Trouble, or something like that. Susan St. James was in one, too. Has anyone else ever seen them? Are they available on dvd or vhs?

Sleeping Beauty!! I always get mad because I can never find Sleeping Beauty Merchandise; She's the least found of all the princesses. But my Lil got me some stickers! :D
