What's The Covenant, and what part did Sydney play in it during the past two years? Can you even imagine the flashbacks she's going to have once her memory is restored, if it's restored, if it's even really Syd now?

Runner up: Syd's 'closure' speech to Vaughn. Hee hee, and I'm such a serious Syd/Vaughn shipper...now that was some serious good stuff.

I wanted to cry at the end with the scene between Syd and Vaughn.

I'm so glad to finally be watching the show after reading the TWOP recaps all summer to catch up!

I was so excited at first when Syd thought Vaughn wasn't actually Vaughn, because I was like, "yes! that's a good explanation! Where's the real Vaughn so they can continue the relationship?" Sadly, that wasn't the case. :(

Marshall's poem was the funniest friggin' thing. I wanted to hear the rest of it.

The whole "Peace" thing is a giant load of crapoo. Syd should have kicked Sloane's ass a little more for trying to feed her that BS. Are we ever going to find out what the Rambaldi device really did?

I personally enjoyed SpyDaddy's "Michael Vaughn is just a boy who was never good enough for you" speech!

The whole thing was awesome. I thought that they were actually going to have Vaughn not be Vaughn and make it so she was only gone like 2 days ( sooo much easier to write a storyline that way), but it was pretty cool that she didn't.

Loved Spy Daddy's speech.
Loved Dixon's "She WILL destroy that".
Nearly cried during Syd's speech to Vaughn. You go girl.

Though I do have to say, my fiance and I giggled every time they said "Covenant". Somehow I doubt anyone here is a big videogame player, but if you've ever played Halo... you'll know why.

All right, so I just watched the premiere this afternoon (taped it last night so I could work on the paper that was due today :p) and all I can say is....WOW. This season sure is going to be interesting.....Good Sloane? Not possible....it's too much like going from heterosexuality to homosexuality and then back to heterosexuality again (human sexuality class gives me some great metaphors, doesn't it? :D) Dixon as the Head Cheese? Awesome! Vaughn as a teacher? A little too farfetched....he'll be back with the Agency next week. Weiss and Bristow acting as partners? Maybe the next hookup on the show (since Vaughn is temporarily taken)? Marshall as a Daddy? Too cute for words...:)

Cannot wait for this Sunday night! :)

ETA: My "metaphor" is not meant to be discriminatory in any way. I was trying to think of a way to compare Sloane's switching back and forth and back again, and this is something that was commented on in my HS class this morning. If I have offended anyone, I truly and deeply apologize.

Watch it again, the foreshadowing is of the "slap you right in the face" variety. Hee hee, watch that Syd/Vaughn ship sail away...because I know it'll be back, because it just has to be one day...

ARGHS. I can't believe this all happened to Sydney. Poor girl. And that closure speech hit it right there. Seriously WHAT was Vaughn thinking?! I wonder if Weiss and Carrie are on Alias because of the fact that Sydney used to be on Felicity for a short period of time. It all has to do with the networking I guess. But I love Weiss's character. The plot just gets thicker and thicker. That letter Sloane read up in the mountains must have been quite important so I don't believe it for a minute that he's suddenly all turned good. You just know he had something to do with Sydney's missing two years. And I wonder if Vaughn figured Sydney would have to be put down with a tranquilizer when he came to get her in Hong Kong.

Holy shnikes!!!!! What the heck was that tonight?!?!?! It was so exciting to see Syd learn what had happened over the past two years, as well as see how emotional she got when she realized that she was the surrogate mommy for Rembaldi's "love child" (can you even use that description when it happens hundreds of years later????)

Also, what the heck was that ending about????? Vaughn's wife's got some 'splaining to do! And I can't wait to see next week's episode....is it too early to start looking forward to Season 3 coming out on DVD????? :D

The Jack/Irina thing seems to be a common existance on the show....Vaughn/Lauren, Will/"Francie", Sark/Allison....it's never ending (next we'll find out that Will slept with Syd to find out information for someone else :p)

I was just so darned happy to see the SpyMommy flashback last night! I *miss* SpyMommy! Looking forward to some SpyAuntie action, Isabella Rossellini is a fine actress and should be quite believable, even if she's not Lena Olin.

Okay, so this was titled "Full Disclosure" huh? What about Sloane? What about SpyDaddy? WHAT ABOUT SLOANE? I don't know about everyone else, but this one didn't answer all my questions about Syd's missing two years either. Come on JJ, you can do better :)

I missed a few minutes early on, but did SpyDaddy know that Syd really was alive or did Project Black Hole make sure he wouldn't interfere? Please, y'all, don't try to tell me that we should be believing everything *Kendall* says, either. I still say he's bad, bad, BAD!

The ending just wasn't the surprise I hoped for, figuring it would either be Lauren or Sloane on the other end of Sark's phone call. Now, we don't know for sure that Sark was calling Lauren, he could have been calling whoever Lauren is working for (if she's not really directly working for him.) Lauren is bad, always has been bad, always will be. How else would Lauren know the exact location of Julia Throne's apartment? It certainly explains how she knew how to shoot so darned well, think last night and then back in "Breaking Point." I absolutely can't wait for next week to see how they play out this

There's a theory out there that somewhere along the line, Syd and Sark are siblings/half-sibs. What if that theory's wrong, and it's really Sark and Lauren? Hmmm....

Was anyone else kind of "meh" about last night's show? I was expecting this huge revelation, and all I get is that Lauren is evil? We KNEW that already, her freakishly huge eyebrows and indeterminate faux-British (or is she Australian?) accent clued us in to that ages ago!

And where was SpyDaddy in all of the excitement at the end of the show? Could it be that he's in cahoots with the Covenant?

Melissa George is Australian. Lauren is American, raised in Britain due to her Diplomat/Politico Daddy's various assignments for the US Government. We haven't met Lauren's daddy yet this season, have we? I can't remember...oooh, more conspiracy theories!

Okay, so I'm thinking that either A1: I need to rewatch this season's episodes or B2: I'm terrible at putting the pieces together, because I never *imagined* Syd being an unwilling egg donor, nor Kendall being "good" (even though he will more than likely turn out bad sooner rather than later), or even Lauren being mixed up with Sark/middleman for Sark.

SpyAuntie will be cool, but SpyMommy should come back sometime soon again :D

Its being reported that Lena Olin won't be back this season because she wanted mucho money-not that ABC wouldn't give it to her, but I guess she's being difficult.
Thank god I taped last nights ep because I don't think that I could have waited through those commercials. What I don't get though is since Syd went to that mountain in season two, how could she still fit the prophecy? The evil Lauren bit was pretty obvious, but I didn't think that she would be working with Sark, who I have developed quite a crush on from watching season 1 and season 2 back to back in 5 days time. I've also read that Greg Grunberg is getting his own spinoff called Bounty Hunter, or that he will be a bounty hunter, I guess maybe both. And from reading some other tv boards, some people speculate that Syd is really Sloanes daughter since he is gets so emotional about her being like a daughter to him. Honestly, this show kicks ass-Jennifer deserves an Emmy:D

I'm just waiting for the day that Lauren runs into SpyMommy. Now *that* would be an enjoyable scene (unless, of course, SpyMommy is really Lauren's boss...)

I agree - last night's episode was nothing spectacular. This season just isn't up to par with seasons 1 & 2!!

Is Lauren retarded? seriously, why would she call her covenant liason from the CIA headquarters? You would think that they would monitor every inch of that facility (or marshall would pick it up with one of his fun gadgets!)

I can't believe Syd told Vaughn that she slept with Will - but i was happy to see Vaughn jealous and for him to finally admit that he still does and will always love sydney. But i didn't enjoy him running to lauren at the end.

Part of me thinks that maybe Vaughn knows that Lauren is evil and is just using her for something?

Sooo...what happened last night? I listened to it on the radio as I was driving home from my boyfriend's place, but it doesn't have the same effect as watching it.

lauren is super evil. she killed all kinds of people last night and is BFF with Quentin Tarentino's character, McKenas Cole - who is the "man in front of the man" in Covenant Importance. Anyone else reminicent of Irina being "the man" last year... think she'll resprise her role (i hope i hope!) Sark has a mega crush on Lauren - it's kinda gross actually b/c she's blah and he's hot. Carrie and Marshall got married and Carrie went into labor.

i swear, if Syd does end up being Sloane's daughter - i'll puke. That's just gross - don't do that to us JJ Abrahms!

When Sloane was talking to the CIA psychiatrist, and he was talking about something that affects the *two most important people in his life* but then he CLAMMED UP, I just knew it was going to wind up being that Sloane would *reveal* that he's Syd's father. :rolleyes:

It was interesting to see Weiss and Vaughn talking as they were playing pool and Weiss telling Vaughn that he wasn't going to tell him what to do, and then it was great seeing Weiss and Syd working together to get to the security system designer :D If Syd and Vaughn can't be together, I'd sign on for a Weiss-Syd pairing! ;)

by the way - WTH is up with all of these 3 week intervals between episodes?!?! It sucks :mad: We had to wait 3 weeks for last nights episode, now the next one won't be on until March 7th. That is totally not cool. How does ABC expect us to remember the storyline or be excited when they keep jerking us around!
