Sad Day
 

My uncle passed away this morning. He had cancer.
I would really appeciate it if you would all keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.

Leslie, I'm not an AGD so sorry for crashing on your board, but I just wanted to offer you and your family my condolences and I'll keep you in my prayers.

Thank you to all my sisters ( and Masha :) ) for your support. I found out yesterday morning right before I left for work...not a good way to start the morning. My students were really considerate and supportive, which helped a lot, and then two of the new teachers and I went out to dinner, which got my mind off of my uncle for a while. I was mostly okay until I called my aunt and cousin; then I started balling. They plan to have him cremated (sp?), so there won't be a wake or anything. Part of me is really glad he's not suffering anymore, but the other part of me misses him greatly.

So sorry, but just remember that he is no longer suffering. Remember the goodtimes and not the bad, and know that we are all here. I always remember our initiation whenever anything like this happens, whether it is an AGD or not.

Well I have to say goodbye to my exboyfriend. He died in a car accident Friday night. He was 32. He has a younger brother and sister, and is survived by both of his parents.

I am confused. I just saw him, and we were still on good terms. So now I have to find a way to say goodbye that I had an intimate relationship with- that is just so strange!
I don't understand it, but I trust in God and my faith and I know it is okay.
