Who were your Outstanding GC'ers who helped with your rush experience
 

I thought I'd start a thread about those on here that have truly been beneficial and helpful throughout your rush experience whether it was positive (hopefully!) or not. :D I just think they deserve some recognition!! So post here about those that helped you through rush! I'll start!


I would like to thank the following people:

ADPiUCF- so much to say about you Abbey, my rush mommy, you are truly an inspiration to me, your words meant so much to me and really made me glad I went through the recruitment process, you are what a sorority is all about. I thank you for your friendship throughout this entire process and you personal regard for my well being.

Breathesgelatin- for keeping me sane, having me enjoy watching you go nuts over my crazy rush thread and for keeping my spirits high throughout the process

DZHBrown- for always believing in me through the rough parts of recruitment and for you being you loving your pink and green

Silverblue and Volgirl2736- for letting me know the flipside of UTK and your inside scoop of a terrific greek school, You guys rock

UF56- Even though we're rival schools (hehehe GO VOLS!) You've really stood out in supporting be throughout recruitment, thanks for all your help

RainbowbrightCS- my bolt buddy! Thank you so much for turning me on to GreekChat, I have learned so much thanks to you and for that i'm truly greatful.

JohnsDGSweetheart- Your peppyness and cheerfulness kept my spirits high, thanks for always being there to boost up my confidenence with all those crazy smilies!

Buttonz- my girl, my SDT friend, the girl i can brag about being a computer dork about!~ Thanks for all your wisdom and support.

and finally my rush buddies, the ones that were right there going through it with me, absolutuscchick, SparkliiQTMTSU, AZPinkKittie, MTSUGurl, amandamarie, blueGBI, Moxie, PixieChickMTSU, smiley21, and sweetchicky. You girls are awesome and I'm so glad I got a chance to experience this entire thing with you, please keep in touch, I love you guys!!!!


Thanks again to all who helped, if I forgot you I'm sorry! I have nooo sleep in me since I got none from the weekend and I have 2 huge psych exams tomorrow and I'm on my way to work right now, but anyway, thanks again to all who supported me, YEAH GC! *muah*

Awww...thanks Laura! I think CutiePie2000 was the biggest help in my rush process! She was so excited about a colony coming and gave me a lot of encouragement...especially since I was so scared...she never went overboard though...but afterwards she confided in me that she knew I'd make it all along...which made me feel especially good!

i guess i could specifically thank justamom and thetalove for their wisdom of LSU rush - but all of you have been so kind, ever since i first started questioning about pierced noses! and now to all of my new greek sisters - thank you!

The recruitment process itself is so amazing--- it is the most exciting time for everyone involved and I've really enjoyed meeting so many on GC-- PNM's, collegians and alum. You are all so dear to my heart, and ... oh thank you, Al Gore, for inventing the internet!!!!

To all of my "rush babies"-- it doesn't necessarily matter where you end up, it's the journey, how you got there and the people you met along the way, that's what really matters. Enjoy the journey and those you meet-- The journey and the friendships-- those are the sweetest gifts of all and I enjoy sharing both of these things with each of you.

OK! Here we go....

honeychile and adpiucf - What would I have done without you two? You kept me sane, hopeful, excited, positive, etc etc... You 2 will continue to hold a special place in my heart and I hope one day to actually see the faces of 2 people that have helped me so much!

AOIISilver, DZHBrown, thanks so much for the continuos encouragement and the help. I appreciate you gals so much. (Silver - thanks for turning me on to PHI CHI!)

AXO_Mom_3 and AXOAlum for the extra pushes, encouragement, checking up on me, etc.

GPhiBLtColonel - I wouldn't have rushed if not for you. The emails, the advice, the encouragement... You gave me the final push to say, "I'm gonna do this!"

There are a bunch more, but I can't name all of you. Ladies, I don't have to see you face to face to know that you are credits to your organizations! I love you all and wish that I could meet you all.

honey's helped me with even more than rush....

I'd send her like 3 PM's in a row because I went over the character limit that many times with all my "issues," rush or not. We've had our good times, and our trouble times! And I know when I go to COB again or rush in the fall that she'll be there for me.

(And I will at least do my best to keep quiet and say Pittsburgh is better than Chicago for her. But it'll be tough!!!!) :D ;)

Plus, she's the one who introduced me to this board and got me posting with all of you! And your support has been amazing through all of this!!! Thank you!!!

She was the main reason I gave rush another chance. She was sweet and helped motivate me through recruitment.

I also think that everyone on this board had an effect on me as well. I think it's wonderful that women all over the nation are thinking good thoughts and hoping for the best and it just makes the experience even more amazing.

I definately loved each and every one of my 'cheerleaders' when I was going through rush!!! It really helped to know so many people were wishing me well with my experience, and it was sooooooo awesome to be welcomed into Alpha Delta Pi not only by my chapter, but from sisters across the nation :)
