What new fall TV show are you excited about?!

I'm interested in seeing Coupling, but thats about it really.

i'm interested in seeing "coupling" too. but i think that it's mostly b/c i like the british version and i'm curious as to how it'll compare.

I just read an article in the newspaper today saying that the NBC affiliate in Indiana (owned by Notre Dame) is not airing Coupling because the content is too vulgar.

I think Coupling looks good, though I'm not sure if I'll actually watch it. I'm looking forward to Fox's Skin, a modern day Romeo and Juliet.

I'm not really feeling any of the new shows. Might give Miss Match a try if I'm home on a Friday night. I can't really bring new shows into my line-up or it throws everything off. I have things to do every night next week, so I made a little schedule of when my shows air and what I need to tape.

Tues: Gilmore Girls, 2 hours of Paradise Hotel, 8 Simple Rules for Dating my Teenage Daughter (just because there's a special tribute to John Ritter)
Wed: Ed, 2 hours of The Bachelor
Thurs: Friends, The OC (when it starts again) and ER.

Oooh, The OC is a new show I'm LOVING! I don't really consider it very new anymore. But, I'll keep watching it on Thursday nights (well, tape it since I have class til 10). Wow, I must seem like such a TV-obsessed loser. ;)

The Bachelor with BOB!! YAY!!

It's all about ALIAS baby.. only one more week to go!

I've seen the UK version of "Coupling" and I found it juvenile. Maybe it was just the episode I caught. *shrug*

I would also like to see the American version of Coupling. I love that show, but likely the original is better than the imitation. However, it is good to give it a benefit of a doubt.

I'm not really adding any new shows into my lineup either. I barely get time to watch TV, but I'm an addict for my favorites:

Any Law and Order (esp. Criminal Intent... I love Vincent D'Onofrio)

Friends (the commercials for the final season make me cry!)

Scrubs

8 Simple Rules... (I'm going to miss that show... it was one of my favorites)

I forgot about Joan of Arcadia-- I wasn't a big fan of the girl who plays the title role, (ex-Emily on General Hospital) when she was on GH, but the commercials look interesting. John Ritter's son is also on the show. I'm going to watch that.

There are also a bunch of new shows on MTV... I saw one of those commercials that has clips from the new ones, but right now all of their names escape me.

I just caught 20 minutes of Everwood, I don't think it's new, I think this may be the 2nd season but not totally sure. Anyway, I really liked what I saw, there was a college fair and the kids were going around with their parents. It reminded me of all that college pressure. I think I'm going to follow this show.

Am I the only one who gets REALLY ticked off when the networks start to shuffle the shows around, really messing up what was a good night on tv?

no, i am with you girl!!! when they start mixing things up i either have to fit it in my schedule hoping it doesn't conflict with my other show i watch or tape it. if i tape it i have to find time to watch it... it's this whole viscious cycle!!:mad:

I hear that ! It's no fun having to choose between shows to watch, and if you're not going to be home anyway and you want to watch two shows at the same time....ooh boy! :p

I'm pissed b/c "Judging Amy" is now on against "L&O:SVU" !!! I LOVE THOSE TWO SHOWS!!!

8pm tonight is the SEASON PREMIERE OF GILMORE GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot wait!! I have a special dinner to cook/eat, even dessert!!LOL

It's been in my Outlook calendar for weeks now!!!LOL

I like Spiderman and 3 South on MTV.

3 South is on Comedy Central though.

I"m pissed that the OC isn't on tonight. I love that show. Anyone watching I'm with Her tonight--I guess I"ll check it out. I'll also be watching ER, The Bachelor, and My wife and Kids..which is supposedly an hour long. Does anyone know when It's all Relative starts?

My husband has the TIVO programmed to death, to catch pretty much all of the new shows...we'll watch them all once & see, but I don't want to get attached to anything, knowing over half of it will be cancelled. Waiting for Lyon's Den b/c I heart Rob Lowe & waiting for the season premier of That 70's Show & ER (I heard Carter's going to break up w/Abby on a post-it note).

One of the new ones that surprised me, was Jake 2.0 on UPN. Kind of has a Smallville feel, but more technology/intrigue driven. Check it out if you like sci-fi/action adventure.

Less than Perfect with Sarah Rue, funny funny show.

I just saw this show for the first time on Sunday night and I'm already addicted. I can't wait till 10 tonight!

My mom and I had a special date tonight to watch it. It's "our" show. no phone calls, no company, nothing during GG.

I'm wondering how FI will feel about me going to my mom's house every Tues night for it after we're married....oh well :)

Gilmore Girls was great!!! I love that show :) I wonder how our little Rory will do at Yale... great I'm sure!!

I *may* watch Tru Calling too, not sure yet, I'll have to see the premiere. I've never watched Boston Public, but the commercials for the 1st 2 shows looked really good, though I missed the season premiere already.

That mother is amazingly bitter! I don't understand why Lorelai didn't just tell her that they JUST found out about the change of schedule, etc...

What is up with Lorelai diggin' on Luke??

Has anyone heard of that new show called it's all relative? i saw commercials a while back and don't know when it starts. anyone know?

yeah i saw the previews for that on abc i think. it's the one where the girl and the guy get engaged, but the guy's parents don't approve b/c her parents are 2 gay guys, right?
with all of these new shows coming out, it's hard to keep track of what's on when. do you know what night It's All Relative is supposed to premiere?

yeah thats the one. the guy comes from an Irish Catholic family in Boston and the girl has two gay dads.

I was counting down the days until the premier. I wish it had been a 2 hour episode also. What do you think about Paris being Rory's suitemate? I knew Paris was going to go to Yale.

I think Rory is going to be a great influence on Paris...

I have no idea what to expect from this season at all!!!

I cannot even anticipate possible college storylines because this isn't a show that uses trite, T&A, "fighting over guys" plots to make a good story...
