Yay, ZTA IS HERE
 

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that ZTA finally made it to the University of South Florida this week. I got to meet a few of the sisters and they are sooooo incredibly nice and enthusiastic. They made me even more excited about the new colony. Anyway, I scheduled an interview! YAAAY! MEEEE! But its a week and a half away! BOOO! HISS! :-( The next week is going to be torture. Have a good night everybody.

I also had a meeting with the ZTA's today! The turnout was huge, around 350 USF women! I think my meeting went really well; it was a great experience meeting some of the ZTA sisters! Unfortunately, they only can bid 102 or so girls. I find out if I receive a bid on Friday! I can't wait..

Hello Ladies. I wanted to say congrats for a successful colonization here at USF. ZTA gave out bids today to over 103 ladies. One of my close friends was invited to join and she is so excited. She already went out and got a license plate and stickers for her car!! Anyhow, it's great to have another sorority on campus, a total of 8 now!

I'm on Panhellenic Executive Board at USF, and had the pleasure of being there today when bids were given out. The women were ecstatic! Some were shaking they were so excited, all of them left with smiles from ear to ear. They all seemed like such wonderful women, we are lucky to have them as Panhellenic sisters! (I was especially glad to see a woman who had been in my Pi Chi group in 2002...she wasn't able to pledge then, but now she is an enthusiastic New Member of Zeta!) USF welcomes ZTA into our Greek Community!

I am one of the lucky USF women to receive a bid today (and Sara's close friend :)~). I was so excited when I found out that I was invited to be a ZTA that I almost could not write legibly on my bid card. So I am Proud to announce that I am a founding member of the (future) Kappa Sigma chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha!!!

does anyone know how the colony at u. of south florida is going?

Last I heard they were doing well. I know they had an amazing recruitment.

We are doing great! :)

We have 101 girls! We started with 103 but had a few girls drop in the last few weeks, but we hope to be back up to 103 girls very soon. We placed 3rd in homecoming, teamed with Beta Theta Pi and AEPi. We have also done very good in all of our fraternity/sorority sponsored events (ie: lamda chi kidnap, SDT's lip sync, PhiDelta's 3 on 3 basketball tournament, etc.). Also, we have won, to my knowledge, every intermural volleyball and soccer game that we have played in so far. We have our very first semi-formal this Friday, the 21st. We are set to be initiated sometime mid-January-->mid-February, as soon as we complete all of the colony requirements. I can't wait!

I am so glad to hear that the USF chapter is successful! Keep us updated on all your accomplishments.

They have a date! The dates we will get initiated and installed is February 6th and 7th. I believe that the UCF or FSU girls are coming to Tampa to help out with it also. :)
