Questions404 09-15-2003 10:22 AM

I am waiting for the new Outkast album because I like both of the songs that have recently been released from the group. I think it is coming out this month.

librasoul22 09-16-2003 08:54 AM

Badu will be $7.99 at Best Buy today.

Outkast is next week.

exquizit 09-16-2003 01:01 PM

I got the CD and I must say I like what I've grooved to so far.....

I just really wish it had more than 10 tracks. I was checking out the cover as well as her thank yous and I think Ms. Badu has gone beyond smokin that sticky..she's on a whole new high:eek:

AKA2D '91 09-16-2003 01:03 PM

Thanks for the info. Looks like I'll have something to listen to during my road trip this weekend. :D

I thought I would have gotten the CD by now, but my assistant decides not to come to work today.

lovelyivy84 09-16-2003 02:09 PM

Erykah did the dayum thing again!!!! This whole CD got my head bopping.

My fave song so far: "Love of My Life Worldwide" - feat. Queen Latifah, Angie Stone and Bahamadia. They should make a video for this. :)

I have to agree. I really like this CD. And I love when people include their lyrics. I love to know what I'm trying to sing.

Ya'll are not lying. This chit is the BOMBBBBB!
I'm sooooooo glad she included Love of My Life Worldwide on this EP (this explains why there are only 10 cuts). The remix is better than the version that Music Choice has been playing for months. I hope they do make a video.

Lenny Kravitz plays guitar on one of the cuts. :D

THIS IS DA BOMB, YA'LL!

RedefinedDiva 09-16-2003 08:22 PM

Erykah is OFF THE CHAIN!!!!

librasoul22 09-16-2003 11:07 PM

COSIGN ON ERYKAH!!!! OOOOOOOOOMG THIS CD IS A BEAUTIFUL THING!!

txdiva 09-16-2003 11:14 PM

This CD is very interesting! I like it!!! The only problem I have with it is that's it's too short. :( "I Want You" and "Back in the Day" are my favorites. Erykah has done it again!

Gina1201 09-17-2003 11:38 AM

i want you

Did anyone else listen to this song and towards the end thought that the CD was skipping? I did, and was pissed until I realized that it was part of the song. :o

Good news, y'all!

I just read on mtv.com that KELIS will be releasing a new CD on Nov. 11 (I wonder if it will be Wanderland? If so, YAY cause I already dl'ed it, lol) and MILKSHAKE will be the first single!!

:D :D

I can't WAIT to hear it in the club!!!! Woo!

Also has anyone heard Alicia Keys' remake of Juicy? It was okay. I was not a huge fan though. Streets Of NY should definitely be her lead single.

The new CD is called "Tasty". I wish they would've released "Wanderland" here, though. :(

Gina1201 09-22-2003 01:53 PM

Alicia Keys' new CD, The Diary of Alicia Keys, has been pushed back to December.

OMG Y'ALL

EVERYONE MUST GO OUT (TO BEST BUY) AND PURCHASE THE NEW OUTKAST CD (FOR THE LOW LOW PRICE OF 10.99) BECAUSE IT IS THE BEST CD EVER!

Seriously I am blown away by both CD's (although I like Big Boi's better).

I heard this song last night. I like it! It has a REALLY heavy bass line. Tried to DL it but of course no clean copies online, lol.

Is anyone else feeling T.I., btw? I didn't like his first single, 24's, but the rest of his CD is pretty good. I like Let's Get Away and Rubberband Man.

Hey I also heard Milkshake on the radio last night! The revolution has begun! :D

Yes, the new OUTKAST CD is da bomb!!!! I'm still undecided as to which one I like better. Those are some talented brothers and have proven that they can do well independently. :D :D

evaclear04 09-26-2003 02:36 PM

Yea.... I'm soooo late

Ok... i'm a little slow but i finally listen to Beyonce's Cd... and i have to say that Dangerously in Love 2 is my favorite on the whole Cd! Despite my personal feeling about her, she really did a good job on this. I even like the song with Big Boi (I'm a big outkast fan).

Kudos to 'B'!

"24s"is my dad's "new song" (almost replacing "get busy" by sean paul). funny thing: he asked my little brother what "burning trolls" meant. my brother told him, "that's burning 'DRO--weed." i thought that was funny

but the song i like is t.i. vs. tip.

Ideal08 09-28-2003 03:53 PM

I picked up OutKast the other day and Erykah last week. Love all 3 CD's!!!

abaici 09-28-2003 06:14 PM

I've been on a CD buying rampage.

I bought Outkast, Neptunes, Nappy Roots, Mary, Dwele, and Kindred

I have listened to most of the Dwele CD and he makes a sista want to move to Detroit! I LOVE IT!

Now, I bought the Outkast CD because of all of the raves. I've listened to Dre's CD. I think I have to listen to it a couple of times before I FEEL it.

I mad that I wrote a long reply and got an error message!

Anyway, I listened to it while I washed my car, and it is growing on me. Everytime I hear Roses, I turn it. Prototype is my cut though! I'm really feeling that song.

Definitely the jam! But I think that Love in War is my favorite.

Very nice and mellow; Al Jarreau type of vibe on a couple of songs.

FeeFee 10-01-2003 01:51 PM

I'm listening to my co-worker's Anthony Hamilton CD - Comin' From Where I'm From. It is very smooth and mellow. It's a mixture of old soul and gospel. I think I might just spend some money on it.

One of the 2-6 DJ's here loves MILKSHAKE. He plays it everyday and just keeps saying taht the ladies betta work it out when it comes on in da club.

I was wondering whose song it was so I am glad it is Kelis back on the scene.
