bethany1982 09-14-2003 04:38 PM

Does KC actually have a team. Ok, I'm a sarcastic B at times. Congrats to KC. I hope my team wins today.

Thomaso, you are supposed to support the chargers this week so they beat Denver (unklikely now).

Either way, Kansas City has been my team since I was like six. I think they are going to finally do something with this season.

Priest Holmes baby.....woo woo.

tinydancer 09-14-2003 07:11 PM

Priest Holmes RULES!!

docetboy 09-14-2003 07:24 PM

DeltaSigStan 09-14-2003 08:25 PM

WHAT A GREAT DAY FOR NFL FOOTBALL:

1) The Patriots destroyed the Eagles

2) The Delta Sig led Broncos decimated the Sigma Chi led (And bandwagon followed) Chargers

Beurlein's a Delta Sig?

I KNOW you ain't talkin bout jake plummer, cuz the idea of that guy leading anyone is still kinda sketchy to me.

Kitso
KS 361 yards clinton portis woulda had if he played the 2nd half

DeltaSigStan 09-14-2003 09:29 PM

Nope. Mike Shannahan

I know I'm comparing a coach to a QB, but they're the only greeks I know on the team.

Ugh! I was at that game. What a disaster! Revenge would be sweet -- and, this year, may be possible.

The Broncos look good -- but they have to do something about quarterbacks.

BTW, the Bronco SuperBowl victories were lead by a Delt from Stanford. You all know who that is.

I still say MY Chargers are going to the Super Bowl :D (maybe not this year, but soon)

Otherwise, I'd pick Tampa Bay vs Kansas City (even though I'm still not completely convinced about KC, but pretty close!)

I'm jealous that you were at the game.

Now that i'm up here, i think i'm gonna try and see if i can get myself down to Mile High sometime this fall. My cousin owns a bar up here and is a HUGE Broncos fan. At least i know where i can go on sundays. Kinda nice to not have to put up with all that Cowboys crap anymore.

And I'll agree. If Denver coulda just picked up a solid quarterback, they'd be the team to beat.

KS 361 ways i idolized Elway when i was growing up in Denver, had i known he was a Delt when i rushed, i may have different letters ;)

Hey Kitso...

I'll tell you a huge secret. You have to promise never to tell another living soul. I know that GC is secure and no one else will ever see this.

Shhhhh.....

I met Elway a few times when I was directing NFL football, and even did some live shots from Bronco HQ and even his house for NBC.

At those times, I didn't know he is a Delt. Didn't find out until afterwards -- but I wasn't that active during those years. That chapter at Stanford is strange. But practically the whole football team (at least in those days) were Delts.

Duh!

Jim Plunkett and Mark Rypien, two other SuperBowl MVP QB's are also Delts.

If I ever see him again, think I'll slip him "The Grip" just to see what he does.

BTW, as you know, the Broncos are always sold out, but there are sometimes a few single seats left. I know the PR guy pretty well. There are NO free seats, but I MIGHT be able to find a seat or two, given enough warning. Obviously, there is usually a lot of demand for these seats. You would have to pay for them, but they would be face value as opposed to trying to scalp them.

Imthachamp 09-16-2003 06:55 AM

i usually sneak into sold out events
