I was wondering what you all's rush shirts were like for this year's rush. We just got done with rush a couple of days ago, and we had two rush shirts. The one we had during the week had our letters on the front, and an Iron Cross on the back with "Rush Sig Ep" inside of it. Our bid day shirts were white with this on the front" This is a Sigma Phi Epsilon Rush Shirt" and on the back it said "If you don't have one, we didn't want you."

That's bad ass bid day shirt. If we did bid day shirts, I would defitnly steal that idea and thank you for it, but I'd play it off around people I knew like I came up with it. Its tight.

The coolest rush shirts for us are black with our pledge pin on them. I want to make one that has the pledge pin on front and on the back it says "ENOUGHT SAID"

My chapter had a music theme for recruitment, so out Bid Day shirts said on the front in the American Idol desgin, "Phi Sigma Sigma" and the back said "We searched for the best and the votes are in... Bid Day Fall 2003."

Ours this year had "I'm so happy that I am a..." on the front (a line from one of our songs) and then the picture on the back was a black and white picture of a little girl laying on her stomach and her hands are propping her face up and she's smiling. The bottom says:

One of our fraternities is notoriously naughty. These guys have been off probation for six weeks that I've been a student at this school, and I'm a super-senior. Last year they had shirts that said "Double Secret Probation" on the front and "XYZ" on the back.

I LOVED it!!

My other favorite was from my junior year at Elon and it had the same kind of thing on the front(AOTT, Elon College, 1999) and the back said

"To be or not to be--it was never a question!"

Ours this year were white with our letters and a four leaf clover and said "It's Easy To Spot The Lucky Ones"...then the back said "They're Magically Delicious" Alpha Chi Omega Fall Bid Day 2003....the DG one some one talked about sounds like Kappa's bid day shirt....It's teal with glittery light blue writing and it says Kappa Kappa Gamma on the front and on the back it says I'm So Happy That I Am A...

Our bid day shirt was the same as AOTT, but our theme was sweet home sigma Kappa so the front said sweet home sigma kappa and the back said "If you think I'm cute you should see my sisters"

We had a mom's weekend shirt like that...it said "If you think we're cute, you should see our moms"....and the Panhellenic theme of recruitment this year was Sweet Home Arizona...

I'm a new mem. of Sigma Kappa. Our chapter's shirts had a Tiffany and Co. theme. New mem. shirts were black, the active's shirts were the teal Tiffanys color. Both said Sigma Kappa and Co. on the front. On the back of the new mem shirts, it said 'Introducing the new Fall Collection' and on the back of the active's shirts it said 'Introducing the Classics Collection.'
They were very cute.

We have had some really cute shirts, we were a colony last year, so our first bid day shirt said 'The traditions start here, Bid day 2002" The second one was gray with yellow constuction signs that said "We pave our own way" and for our installation our shirts said "In the book of Greek Life, we wrote our own chapter."

Ours has sigma phi epsilon across the front in old english lettering and on theback it had..our flag with a skull and crossbones and said "we need no mans opinion...for we have our own"

Recruitment for us starts today, so I'm wearing my t-shirt right now! Ours are light pink, with the slogan "Come See How 'Pretty' We Are!" across the back, with the following below it:

pretty social...
pretty crazy...
pretty caring...
pretty unique...
pretty festive...

Each "pretty" goes along with a theme for each night...the "caring" day is our philanthropy day, our "festive" day is our pref night, etc. They're cute, and our bid day shirts will be dark pink, and read on the back "It was 'pretty' amazing!"

Our theme this year is Mardi Gras. Two of our sisters made shirts for everyone. They're white on the front they say "Rush KLY Fall 2003" in bluish purple writing with stars and sparkles all over it and on the back it says "I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints...the SINNERS are much more fun!"

Since I am an alum I don't have a current one but I do have my fave!
On the front it says "Sigma Kappa Truman State Univeristy"
On the back is says "If you only had two wishes... What would the other one be?" in a circle with Sigma Kappa in the middle.

The Bid Day shirts for my sorority were awesome this year.

We just got bid day shirts for this semester...On the front it has our APHI letter and on the back it says:

"It's not the only sorority....Its the only sorority that matters"
(then it has our letters real big)

I LOVE IT!!

Last fall our shirts were black with the Harley Davidson symbol and it said Life is Short, So Let's Make it a Wild Ride. And Michigan State University Sigma Delta Tau Bid 2002 was inside the symbol.
That probably sounds really confusing, sorry, but they are so adorable.

Then last Spring, the shirts were red with a highway sign with SDT *normal letters for the new members and greek letters for the actives* and underneath it said The perfect road to perfect sisterhood

Ours said "anyone can wear letters, but only Zetas can wear a crown"...the person in charge of the slogan actually got that from GC!

I was a gepper at Texas, and we did not bother with shit like that . I suppose our rush is much different, b/c at UT we really don't have a formal rush for fraternities. Our rush for the fall pretty much begins at Christmas Formals and continues through the summer, which is a f'n drag entertaining rushees who think they're your friend. Which is awesome to see the confusion in their eyes once pledgeship starts and they wonder what went wrong. By the way, does your chapter participate in that balanced man bs. Also, how strong of a chapter are you at AK.
Also, congrats on the win last weekend, yall kicked our ass.

The Bid Day shirts this year just had letters and Bid Day 2003 on the front and on the back it had a painting of a little girl with heart shaped sunglasses and a red dress on with letters on the front of her dress. Above the painting it said "Ain't you sumthin!" and below it said Chi Omega Bid Day 2003. . .

But I loved our Bid Day banner on the front of our house. It had a big chili pepper (our local mascot) and it said "We have a better time than most can dream. . ." and below the pepper it said "Chi Omega, the best of what's around"

Our recruitment shirts were black. In hot pink script they said:

Our Bid Day shirts were BRIGHT yellow(really, you can't miss us on campus....even at a school as big as UGA) and on the front had the DG letters in red with a pair of red shoes and it said Bid day, August 19,2003.

The back had a picture of dorthy with the wand behind her and it said "There's no place like home...Delta Gamma Bid Day Fall 2003"
