As of 9:21 am today I became the proud father of Kalib Andrew. He was 7 pounds and 13 ounces. Those of you with kids, please help! :-)

NUPE4LIFE, CONGRATULATIONS to you and your wifey. I don't have kids but all my sisters do and the two things that they insist on is to sleep when the baby sleeps (that is mostly for the Mommy), otherwise you will get no rest. And they say to ask God the rest. Everyone will have an opinion and a suggest do what your intuition feels is best. Good luck, I am sure you will do fine.

Wow Catwoman, no morning sickness for 5 days? That's a big accomplishment. Hopefully you will not have it for the remainder of your pregnancy (unfortunately, I had it the whole 9 months for both of mine)! God Bless and I look forward to throwing pink & green confetti in 6 months!

NUPE...DOES YOUR LAST NAME END IN P?

No Mizzkes, my last name does not end in P. AND NO YOU WILL NOT SEE HIM AT LUAU. Not yet, atleast. Actually his new name is Kaleb Storm-Andrew. The reason why we addes storm is because my girlfriend and her family also come from Native American decent. You know how people always saying that they got good hair cause they got Indian in their family? LOL, well they actually know their history like Alex Haley did for "Roots". So Storm is a Native American name. Thank all of you for the Congrats! He's a little sick now, but I believe that God will bring him through things. He swallowed his bowel movement inutero (sp). Other than that, he's as healthy can be.

Congratulations....I too was blessed with a Baby Boy this year.

Its the first for us, my advice (which I can't take full credit for) is to enjoy each minute. The time passes quickly.

My personal advice (as an "experienced parent"....haha all of 7 months) is to go with your gut feelings. You and your wife will know what's best for your child. Keep that in mind when family, friends and YES total strangers want to put their two cents in. Use what works for you and you'll be on the right track.

CatWoman, best wishes to you. It feels wonderful to know that you have "someone" who is with you all the time doesn't it?

As you can tell I'm trying to play catch-up with the posts. Congratulations Nupe! Your healthy baby boy is truly a blessing! Love the name.

I wanted to say congrats on the new edition to your family (I LOVE the kids, esp. the babies...I'd die for 'em).
