After countless PMs and IMs from all of you wonderful GC-ers, it is finally time for LuaBlanca's RUSH thread!!

Today, the Greek Life people announced when the "information" sessions for each GLO would be...so now I know!

There are 3 sororities on my campus. 1 National, 1 local professional, and 1 local social.

Some of you already know which school I go to, and which GLOs are here, but for all intensive purposes of this I'd greatly apprectiate it if that information was not published in this thread. I know it's on other threads in this forum and around GC and that's fine, I'd just rather it not be readily available in this thread :)

So now, I go to the first meeting on Sunday night!!! :)

Good luck! I'm especially interested in this one because my mother and aunt both went to your school (my aunt was in the local), and I was accepted there too (but didn't go, obviously).

is this your first year on campus???

Last night one of the groups (local professional) had an informative meeting. They're an amazing group of women, and I was very impressed.

Tonight is a "Meet the Greeks" night, where we can get acquainted with the other organizations. Tomorrow night is an open session with one of the other sororities (local social) and thursday night is the last open meeting (no invitation needed) for the local professional. I haven't heard anything from the national yet. Hopefully that'll change tonight! :)

"Meet the Greeks" was very informal. But cool. Tables in a room, people with name tags and letters. All in all a good time.

So tomorrow night is an info session for the national, wednesday night is an info session for the local social, and thursday is the info session for the local professional. They're all professional dress, and they're all open call. After Thursday rush starts because everything is by invitation only. (!!!!)

So for reasons I'd rather not discuss, I ended up attending the 2nd open round for only the local professional sorority, and was just invited back to attend their first invitation only round of recruitment! I'll let you know how it goes on Sunday!!!
